The team behind the best free DBZ MUGEN game for PC, Hyper Dragon Ball Z, has released a brand new version of it. Hyper Dragon Ball Z V6.0 comes with new characters, new stages, and new finishing moves. If you are a fan of DBZ, this is a game you should try right now.
DBZ MUGEN games are nothing new. The first DBZ MUGEN game I saw was over 20 years ago. In fact, some of my friends were creating their own custom games. But, Hyper Dragon Ball Z is the most polished one I’ve seen to date.
The last time we covered this free DBZ game was in 2020. So yes. The team has been working on it for a loooooong time. Back then, I called it the best DBZ MUGEN game. And I stand by that statement.
I’m not exaggerating, this feels like a commercial title. Everything is polished, from basic attacks to special moves. Hell, the game even includes its own finishing moves. For example, check out this awesome finisher from Black. This looks soooooo cool.
From what I can see, this will be the last version made with MUGEN. Next, the team will work on a brand-new IKEMEN build from scratch. This new version will include all the cool features IKEMEN has. It will also have a brand-new template character, and making changes should be much easier. The annoying bugs and limits from MUGEN will be gone. Plus, the team plans to return to some unfinished characters they paused to finish this current version.
You can go ahead and download the game from here or here. You can also find below a trailer for it. This trailer will sell you on it.
Since this is a MUGEN game, I don’t think Shueisha or Bandai Namco will take it down. But you know what? It looks so good that they might feel a bit threatened by it. So, grab it while you still can. This is one of the best 2D DBZ fighting games on PC.
Enjoy!

I tried out a couple of these when I was a teen and DBZ was airing on TV. Good times.
I went to my friend's house when I was a kid and saw him playing one of these games, I thought he was gay. A few years later and he declared himself a h0m0se*ual.
He's a full h0m0 now, meaning when he sees something like a nice pair t*ts or female reproduction organs, he's like "get that g4y sh*t away from me".
This is how most anime fans are by the way.
go touch grass
go touch grass
A weeb saying that to a normal human being is kind of insane, don't you think?
Are you telling me to go outside and touch grass hoping that while I'm outside, you or one of your anime buddies get inside my house and touch little kids?
a lot of words for a crybaby.
Cut a weeb and a pedo bleeds
Is there an adult nearby I can talk to about your strange obsession?
Weeb wants to talk to an adult, is this low IQ humor?
humor?
I kind of gave up after the Cell saga just because how exhausting it was to watch. They dragged that season on like their lives depended on it, with multiple redundant flashbacks and long drawn out scenes of them just powering up and going "AAAAAAAAA"
I caught some episodes of the Buu saga, but I lost interest by then so I didn't stick around to finish the show. Saw a few eps of GT as well and it just didn't do it for me. Super just seemed super r-tarded.
DBZ Kai is great because it cuts all the filler – follows the manga much closer. Lots less waiting around
Impressive! Haven't had the chance to try it, until right now!
