Electronic Arts and DICE have revealed the official PC system requirements for the new BF game, Battlefield 6. Moreover, EA shared three new trailers. Plus, the publisher has confirmed the game’s rumored release date. So, let’s dive in.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. The game will also use the DX12 API, and it will require 55GB of free disk space.
DICE recommends using an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 3060Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
Sadly, the devs did not reveal the framerate, resolution, and graphics settings these PC specs target. Still, they should give you an idea of what PC system you’ll need to run it.
It’s also worth noting that BF6 will require an EA account, even on Steam. It will also use Kernel Level Anti-Cheat. From what I can see on the Steam page, there is no mention of Denuvo. My guess is that EA will list it at a later date. After all, the previous BF games also used it.
Battlefield 6 will be powered by the Frostbite Engine. So, it will be interesting to see whether it will support any Ray Tracing on PC. Let’s not forget that Battlefield 5 was one of the first games that NVIDIA used to show off RT. In theory, we should at least get support for AMD FSR 3.0 and NVIDIA DLSS 4.
The three new trailers for BF6 are focused on its multiplayer mode. In them, we get to see some of the game’s classes, maps and modes.
From what we know, in early August, we’ll have the first beta phase for BF6. This will be a Closed Beta. Then, at a later date, we’ll have an Open Beta.
EA will release Battlefield 6 on October 10.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

That kernel-level anti-cheat is an in-house EA abomination called Javelin.
As expected, it doesn't work on Linux, which I consider a net positive…
Typical Linux L.
Nah, life is pretty good in Linux land, especially when you are able to witness how it just keeps improving over time.
As a recent example, ETA Prime benchmarked the new Ryzen Z2 Extreme on Windows 11 vs. Bazzite, which is a Linux distro that provides a decent gaming experience out of the box.
The results speak for themselves:

Note that gaming on Linux is still in its "Laying the Groundwork" phase.
Once that is finally mostly done in the coming year, we can focus on proper optimizations across the whole software stack.
Exciting times ahead!
But you can get custom W10 / W11 builds which do the same thing
All I´m trying to find out while watching those videos are possible monetization opportunities for EA. There is no way that will stay the same at release. Everyone and everything looking the same? EAs management would brutalize the team if they try that. So what will they do? Weapons/Gear/Attachments behind Battle Passes? Locked classes? Timesavers? I honestly expect the game to have some current day rapper skins year 2. But I really hope I´m wrong.
Just too good to be true atm
The pre-order page mentions the "gravedigger soldier skin" which makes me think they're still going to have some sort of operator system but maybe have it be cosmetic only or something.
Looks tremendous and woke. Black guy and women developers.
Good job, EA, not surrendering to the AWW mob.
Love the anticheat, PC hacker loosers suck, same type of scüm as PC pirates. Fock 'em.
BF is back babe!
it looks like a x360 era game, woke is over, fratboy is back, cry about it you little jew.
Dude, you fell for the bait. All posts by this flaggot are absolutely low effort, don't give him the satisfaction of a reply.
no i need to gloat.
the first trailer is like a x350 era trailer, you are the audience they want frens.
Trailer is sped up? Looks unrealistic.
Damn looks hype but I'm too old for this sh*t
One of my dream games is basically gates of hell ostfront with this amount of polish in gameplay and animation both in third person and first person.
No UE5. Specs look solid. Checks out.
Yup performance seems good from what ive seen and these reqs are very reasonable. Good sign.
2060 as minimum. Great I'll be able to play lol
BF6 will require an EA account… they really want the game to fail uh
