Directive 8020 feature

Supermassive’s Directive 8020 releases on October 2nd, gets new trailer

Supermassive Games has shared a new trailer for its sci-fi survival horror game, Directive 8020. The trailer does not pack any gameplay sequences. However, it does show some in-engine cut-scenes. So, it will give you an idea of what it looks like. Plus, the team announced that it will be released on October 2nd.

In Directive 8020, players go on a deep space mission to help save humanity. The story is told like a movie, and it’s full of scary moments. A dangerous alien is hiding in the dark halls of the ship and wants to wipe out all humans. To survive, players must use quick thinking, sneaky moves, and weapons they build from what they can find.

You’ll also be able to change your story using the new Turning Points story tree. You can make big choices that lead to different endings, find secret paths, and even save your crew from dying.

Moreover, the devs have already shared the game’s official PC requirements. To run it, you will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or AMD RX5700. The game will also require 70GB of free disk space. Plus, the devs recommend using an SSD.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I wish they’d create an AI system that did proper animations. It had such a huge impact on immersion. And for some reason many companies just can’t seem to get it right. Better animation with lower graphics > better graphics with poor animation.

  2. I wonder how many colored women will buy and play this, and same goes for Echoes of the End. Recent failure Forspoken flopped hard

    1. well, i saw two tiny black youtubers playing starfield, one is modding guns in to the game and good for him and the other one starfield sista is playing with mods. So as far as we know starfield got 2 blacks to buy their game.

  3. i hate both how the expanse popularized the "reallistic" and "dark sci fi" and how this company populiarized making movie games.

  4. God I couldn't stand this righteous bsh in Day of the Jackal. She ruins anything she appears in.

  5. Do they really have to fill our games with f*king monkeys?
i am 100% sure that not a single black woman will ever play this.

Idiot clown devs these days need to look long and hard at Clair Obscur and who the f*k their actual audience is and what we want from our games.

  6. "To survive, players must use quick thinking, sneaky moves, and weapons they build from what they can find." So…Alien Isolation…basically?
