Elden Ring: Nightreign has just been released on PC, and the first cool mods for it have appeared online. So, let’s take a closer look at them.
If you didn’t know, NIGHTREIGN is a brand-new game set in the same world as ELDEN RING, but it’s a standalone title. That means you don’t need to play ELDEN RING first to enjoy NIGHTREIGN. This new game has a different style and focus. In NIGHTREIGN, players will team up in groups of three to fight against the dark forces of a spreading night. The game is built around 3-player co-op, so it’s meant to be played with friends or other online players.
Each player gets to choose a unique champion, and every champion has their own special skills and powers. Working together is really important because the enemies in this game are powerful and aggressive. I mean, this is Elden Ring we’re talking about. So, you’ll need teamwork and smart strategies to survive.
NIGHTREIGN does not have an unlocked framerate on PC. Instead, the framerate is locked at 60FPS. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, the base game is also at 60FPS. Thankfully, though, there is a mod that allows you to unlock the framerate. It also lets you unlock the refresh rate for your monitor. You can download the mod from this link.
The second cool mod that you can download for Elden Ring: Nightreign is the Seamless Co-Op Mod. The first version of the Seamless Co-Op Mod adds a 2-player mode to the game. The good news is that Seamless Co-Op is compatible with the FPS Mod. As such, you can use both of them. Modder ‘Yui’ also plans to expand the capabilities of the mod in the future. So, curious to see what other features the modder will add to it. Still, if you want to play right now with a friend, this is a must-have mod.
Oh, and there is no reason to fear a possible ban. Seamless Co-Op prevents you from connecting to the game’s servers. Instead, the mod uses save files different from the vanilla version. Thus, there’s no way to get banned using this mod. Unless, of course, you modify it with the intent of connecting to vanilla players.
Elden Ring: Nightreign has been a huge commercial success. Yesterday, FromSoftware revealed that it had sold two million copies on its first day. The game also had a peak of 313K concurrent players on Steam. However, it now sits at “Mixed” Reviews on Steam.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

These mods are great, but, like Elden Ring, Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide users are criminalized by From Software, outcast like 21:9 and 32:9 pariahs, forced to bootleg by modding the game just so things work properly for their monitors.
I will not purchase this game until From Software stops with the luddite nonsense and gets with the 21st century of gaming, and properly supports ultrawide users. They banned us in Elden Ring for modding in Flawless Widescreen fixes, and they'll do so again in Nightreign.
The sick part is they are the only gaming company that is this draconian against wider monitor users. Someone inside From loathes us, and they're associated with the Elden teams.
Dark Souls 1 – 3 can be modded for Ultrawide and From Software does not care with those. We can play online without any issues. Try to do this with Elden Ring or Nightreign? "Stop, you criminal scum!"
Imagine, criminalized for not supporting a niche market.
I feel criminalized due to FromSoftware not supporting the projector I have in the basement.
You guys don't deserve to have widescreen monitors, if you don't know how use them.
Not to mention no one was banned in Elden Ring for using Flawless Widescreen, those are just excuses from cheaters.
I've used Flawless Widescreen in Elden Ring since day one, and I am yet to be banned to date, same applies to Nightreign.
Lies. You are banned from online play. You cannot play online Elden Ring with Flawless Widescreen or Special K.
You don’t decide for me if I am banned, in fact I just played online yesterday with Flawless Widescreen, keep crying however.
As for SpecialK, I not interested in that useless Spyware coded by a 5y old with ego issues.
How did you play online? Through official From channels, or third party, non-mainstream routes?
Seamless co-op is the only way I know how, and that unfortunately ruins half the game because part of the fun in 'Souls games are random player invasions. To use flawless widescreen, one must give up this half of the game.
Seamless co-op allows hackers to invade you, far more easily than if EAC is enabled.

I love it, they never listen to y'all years ago and yet still prior flock to buy their games just to mod. To use mods for things you've asked to be implemented. Y'all deserve to go broke.
Dang I thought it took a game to be dead for offline secret society mods. Now we get them on week one. But yeah, keep buying their half-done stuff.
