Last week, EA decided to cancel the Black Panther game that Cliffhanger Games has been working on. And from the looks of it, some concept art from it has been leaked online.
Black Panther was meant to be a single-player, third-person action-adventure. From what we know, the game would let players explore the world of Wakanda, fight powerful enemies, and show what it really means to take on the role of the Black Panther.
In the game, players would take control of heroes like T’Challa, Killmonger, and Shuri, all competing for the mantle of Black Panther. At the same time, they would be fighting off Skrulls.
According to a recent report, the Black Panther game has been in pre-production for 4 whole years. In other words, it would take a lot of time for the game to come out. It’s also reported that it could feature a system similar to the Nemesis system we saw in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
Sadly, we don’t know anything else about this game. The fact that it has been in pre-production for this whole time means that there might not be any pre-alpha footage from it. So, for most gamers, this is a nothing-burger. That’s also why I didn’t report on its cancellation. But this concept art? Well, it’s at least something.
On one hand, it sucks that this game has been canceled. On the other hand, can you really blame EA? For four years, they have been funding a game that was nowhere close to completion. So, the writing was on the wall.
The good news for Marvel fans is that EA’s Iron-Man game is still in development. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is also still in development, and it will hopefully come out in 2026. Or at least that was the plan the last time I checked.
As you will see, these concept artworks are not something that will blow you away. Still, they can give us a glimpse at what the devs were aiming to create. Plus, Marvel fans may find them cool. So, if you are one of them, you can go ahead and take a look at them.

As a "Hate filled" Nationalist, I'm actually a little sad this was canceled, A game based in sci-fi Africa sounds cool( i'm sure they would have anti-whyted/Gheyd it up). But the M-1943 game Enrages me, a WW2(rare) game staring 3 Blaks killing( instead of r@ping, what they actually did, to those EVvviLL Nasis). I perfect encapsulation of why the west is doomed.

I literally would rather play some obscure FPS from the 2000s that almost nobody even heard of like Chrome (2003) than play 99% of the JuDEIst trash releasing nowadays (shooters or any other genre). At least that game had gorgeous environments, and so many of these beautiful environments are almost completely different from each other too.
I could even name tens if not a hundred more obscure games from back then that nobody even heard of that are much preferrable to the JuDEIst trash slop that we've been accustomed for 10+ years now, not only because they aren't actually agendas disguising as "games", but even they, as ideas in general, are much more interesting even if they were poorly executed.

Dead Island was just another generic and boring Zombie “survival” game that we’ve already seen a million times already and even before it.
I just wish if a playable build of Chrome 2 would get leaked somehow. It looked not only even more beautiful environmentally than the first game, but also even more technologically impressive for its time as well.
It’s a real shame that it was never released, I sure would have loved to play it back in the day. I just wish if it would somehow be released in some way or another, even if it was in a somewhat unfinished state so that maybe the community would pick it up and continue from where it was last left off before it was put on hold.

The general synopsis and outline of the game doesn't sound amazing, just a generic beat them up/brawler with three characters set in Marvel world.
I would not be surprised if there were quests/dialogues about “The Message” for the Modern Audience.

I just think its crazy that the big IP superhero game and studio by ex monolith devs got shut down the same year the big ip super here game and studio by remnant monolith group was also shut down. Premise seemed cool but yeah 4-5 years and not anything tangible to show for it is nuts and makes sense as to why they get shuttered. Both had interesting uses of a nemesis system or nemesis like system but i guess its just something that will get shuttered or pushed off to another game.
