Modder ‘Volucris’ has released a new mod for STALKER 2 that restores two Duty side quests that were cut from the game. This is a simple/small mod that restores what the devs have already created. In other words, it does not add brand new missions or quests.
Going into more details, the mod restores two side quests that players can get from the Duty faction. The mod does not affect or change existing game scripts. Moreover, there isn’t any voice acting for dialogues, or any new animations. Still, I’m certain that some STALKER 2 fans may find them interesting.
This isn’t the first restoration mod that Volucris has released. In April 2025, he released a similar mod that restored the The Last Days quest/mission.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link.
Speaking of STALKER 2, you may also want to try these other mods for it. So, this mod adds a Parkour-like climbing system to the game. Then we have this mod that allows you to fast-travel anywhere on the map.
In December 2024, we shared a mod that allowed you to loot all mutants. This was a feature present in all previous STALKER games that was apparently cut from STALKER 2.
You can also download a mod that will remove the inventory carry/weight limit. I’m not a fan of this last mod, but hey, some of you may like it. Finally, have a mod that can further improve the game’s graphics, and enable GTAO.
The last patch GSC GameWorld released for STALKER 2 was on April 25th. That patch brought some improvements, but the game’s A-Life 2.0 is still all over the place. According to the game’s roadmap, we can expect some tweaks and improvements in the next couple of patches. However, there is no exact ETA on when we’ll get the next patch.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Just found this:
"Captain Blood development started in the early 2000s. It was nearly finished—just steps away from release—when it was suddenly cancelled and disappeared for almost 20 years.
Fast forward to today: thanks to the combined efforts of the original dev team (SeaWolf with Sergey Makeev in the lead) and the crew at General Arcade, this long-lost title has finally made it to players.
Of course, it’s not a modern game. Judged by today’s standards, it may feel rough around the edges—and some reviews might reflect that. But it was never meant to compete with modern AAA titles. It’s a product of its time, and for those who remember that era fondly, there's something truly nostalgic and charming here.
I hope this story will help open the door for more unreleased games to finally see the light of day—and give credit to the teams that worked so hard on them.
Feel free to share your stories and ideas. We’d be honored to try to bring more of them back to life.
And here is the launch trailer for you to enjoy and smile"

Thanks for the heads-up, just bought it to support the effort!
(Plus they explicitly included the Steam Deck logo at the end, which is a nice touch.)
Got around to completing this the other day, the first boss fight is a joke; no option to repair your gear beyond the endgame warning. Fighting hordes of enemies with random weapons shoved in front of you because all your gear is broken.
I need this game to reach 1.x or 2.x with better A-Life and Performance 😫
