Clair Obscur Expedition 33 feature-3

Here are 58 minutes of gameplay from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

YouTube’s member ‘Punish’ has shared a video, showcasing 58 minutes of gameplay from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This footage appears to be from the game’s latest preview build, so it can give you an idea of what it looks like in its current state.

In this turn-based RPG, players will have real-time actions at their disposal. According to the devs, these real-time actions will enhance the heart of the turn-based combat.

Players will be able to craft unique builds for their Expeditioners that fit their playstyle via gear, stats, skills, and character synergies. Moreover, they will be able to dodge, parry, and counter in real time, chain combos by mastering attack rhythms, and target enemy weak points using a free aim system.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. However, there is no word on whether it will support Lumen or Nanite. From what we know, the game will also not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Kepler Interactive will release Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on April 24th. You can also find its official PC system requirements here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Hey at least the women look like women….so there's that I suppose. Will keep an eye on this one.

  2. It makes me happy to see this game actually release. No stronk blak Wahmen, in a 2020s game. Its own new unique art and setting. Its nice being "represented" and that feeling of a game made for nerds/gamers with no malice. reminds me of the 2000s when 90% of games were made for me/us/gamers(even if Turn-based aint my jam)

    1. What difference would it make to you if they did include a black woman or a woman of any ethnicity into the game? Even if they did make her attractive, feminine and polite I feel like that would still be an issue for you. Plus, there's bound to be characters like that which may appear as NPCs so I wouldn't celebrate just yet if you're entirely against those things.

It's a fantasy game but the fact that people like you get so caught up on things like melanin will always be bizarre. Not every fantasy game needs to replicate the kind of lores you find in TLotR or The Witcher universes. Otherwise creativity would be stifled.
