Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 feature-3

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Just Got New 4K Texture Packs

Modder ‘CHECKER90’ has released a must-have 4K Texture Pack for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that overhauls its environments. With this pack, you will get better textures for vegetation, rocks, mud and most terrain surfaces. As such, I highly recommend getting it.

Going into more details, this pack focuses on improving textures and materials across various surfaces, including ceramic, metals, rocks, terrain, and more. As the modder has noted, significant attention has been given to small details such as footprints, tree textures, certain plants, and other landscape elements.

The 4K version of this mod is 1.3GB in size and you can download it from this link. You can also find a 2K version of it (in case your GPU does not have enough VRAM to handle the 4K version).

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the most optimized PC games of 2025. However, the game does have a lot of low-res textures. And that’s where this 4K Texture Pack comes in.

Since this pack focuses on the game’s environments, it should be compatible with this HD Texture Pack that enhances all of the game’s faces.

And that’s not all. Modder ‘CRT’ released a new 4K Texture Pack that overhauls all the clothing textures. This pack enhances over 400 clothing textures. And yes, you will be able to use it alongside the other two packs we mentioned above.

Another must-have mod is this one that enables Async Compute. This isn’t a “placebo mod”. It actually works and it will improve your performance. So, don’t sleep on it. Plus, you can download this mod that allows you to save everywhere.

From the looks of it, KCD2 has sold incredibly well. In just one day, the game passed one million copies. It also hit over 250K concurrent players on Steam. Warhorse Studios has also revealed that the game passed two million sales in less than two weeks.

Finally, you can find some comparison screenshots between this latest 4K Texture Pack and the vanilla version. These shots will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Here, download this mod. And this mod. You can also download this mod.
And while you're at it, why not cheat? Here, have a cheat.

    This site, man.

    1. I don't have any problem with cheating in games. I'm not wasting my time running around picking up herbs or other dumb sh*t.
I would cheat in multiplayer games too if cheats were free. I'm not wasting my time getting good at something that doesn't benefit me.

      1. i do that too in single player games using wemod. Sometimes its just annoying to grind for some weapons that will take a boss down in 15 minutes instead of 1 hour and 1000 game overs later.. i rather strike it down in 1 strike so i can carry on with the story.
I sometimes use cheats if i dont have time to game while a quest takes too long. Hack slash games where i kill enemies with 1 hit is sometimes more rewarding than cumbersome grinding.

There are games that sell ingame currency for real money.. ( Tales of Arise ) i bypass that with a cheat from a trainer.

        1. I'm never grinding in any game for any reason unless the progress is super rewarding and a mechanic like in xcom games.
Also, just get cheat engine instead of paying for trainers.

          1. @disqus_TJlBR9UIzY:disqus That's because we're adults and we have a life!
We can't spend our precious time trying to be good at something so trivial, but we love the fun about playing. It's only natural to use a trainer.
I use trainers since ever (free ofc, paying for them is for the dvmb), cause I love games, but have ZERO intentions on being good at it.

    2. What would you prefer to see?

I'm okay with the mods articles, because not so many gaming websites mention mods, except the ones which are dedicated to this particular topic.

Also, this website is called Dark Side of Gaming for a reason.
We also talk about emulation, and hacks, and all sorts of stuff that are "underground".
This is 100% my alley. PC gaming, emulation, and everything to mod/hack games, including very old ones. (personally, I would love more articles about romhacks.)

I find it way more interesting than the news you can get on Gamespot, for example. So generic and mainstream.

The only real problem with DSOG might be that there's not enough people working on it. Maybe you wouldn't complain if there was another person focusing on, what, more games reviews?

  2. wish more games used cryengine. id rather games use that than unreal engine 5 overrated bs. I havent been impressed by any ue5 graphics.

    1. The only engine i've been amazed by this year has been Snowdrop from Outlaws. That and Frostbite they had in NFS 2015 are still best to this day.

      1. Frostbite was bloody cool!
One that people used to love and I'm seeing less and less is Unity.
Don't get its success, the engine is efing ugly!

  3. When you squint your eyes and look very close at the photos you can see a small difference. I don't think it's worth downloading this mod. The vanilla game already looks good.

  4. sometimesgames look too sharp, like it enhances the "fake" look. I don't know how to put it, but sometimes too sharp is not better. I'm not neccesarly saying this is an example of it but when i look at some cyberpunk 2077 screenshots that use " max settings " sharp textures etc it makes it look faker than normal.
