Sony and UltiZeroGames have announced that their upcoming action RPG, Lost Soul Aside, will be officially coming to PC in 2025. To celebrate this announcement, the teams shared a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
Lost Soul Aside started as an action Unreal Engine 4 indie game, inspired by Final Fantasy XV. The game’s protagonist was based on FFXV’s Noctis, and the game quickly got everyone’s attention. That was back in 2016.
In this game, players will chain lightning-fast combos, learn new abilities, and upgrade their weapons as they take on formidable enemies and colossal bosses in fast, dynamic combat.
From what we know, UltiZeroGames is still using Unreal Engine 4 and has not moved on to Unreal Engine 5.
Back in August 2023, NVIDIA revealed that the game will support DLSS 3 and Ray Tracing on PC. However, we still don’t know the RT effects that the game will be using.
Although Sony will publish this title, it did not delay its PC version. In other words, this won’t be timed-exclusive on PS5. This is definitely great news. However, as with most of Sony’s PC releases, it will require a PSN account.
Enjoy the new trailer and stay tuned for more!

Braindead Sony still pushing their PSN garbage… ffs.
They are pushing it so they can release games on PS and PC at the same time and eventually you will be able to subscribe to PlayStation Plus on a PC much like Microsoft has been doing for Game Pass for over 5 years now. You'll also be able to buy games directly from the publisher which is how I prefer to do it.
Currently Game Pass brings in over half a billion dollars in revenue every month and Sony would be stupid to pass on doing the same thing. My biggest gripe with PSN especially if I was an investor is it's current lack of reach. People getting locked out of games in non-sanctioned countries is not a good look nor is it a good business strategy. I don't think that is still going to be the case by the end of 2025. PSN or some other sort of access to PSN will happen in all the countries with Game Pass and Steam support.
I believe this game was made by one person and Balatro was made by one person. Will Lost Soul Aside be nominated for Indie Game of the Year at the next Game Awards? Only seems fair, right?
turbo overkill was mostly made by one person and deserved an award instead it was ignored.
Indeed, truly is a shame. It was my 2023 GotY.
Understandable.
The game has zero innovation and all it does is copy old formulas in a very messy way. That sh*t NEVER deserved any awards (not that these awards mean anything anyway).
insert the "its been one bazillion years" titanic meme jpg here. This game has been in development for so long that the female characters in it actually look feminine and pretty and wear dresses and have breasts.
So It's coming finally. I guess playstation actually helps making games behind the scenes compare to xbox which just fires people and drool for political money. Looking forward to this game.
PSN account required…aaand into the ignore list it goes.
Eat my a*s Soyny.
"However, as with most of Sony’s PC releases, it will require a PSN account."
Press X to doubt
Btw, it's a game just like the thousand others, what I'll be insterested about is the story that carries it. Is it decent?
Temu Devil May Cry?
