INDUSTRIA 2 first screenshots-2

Two minutes of raw gameplay footage from the Unreal Engine 5-powered narrative FPS adventure game, INDUSTRIA 2

IGN has shared a new video, showcasing two minutes of raw gameplay footage from the Unreal Engine 5-powered narrative FPS adventure game, INDUSTRIA 2.

INDUSTRIA 2 will have physics-based interactions, a crafting system and a diegetic inventory. This will be a narrative story-driven title, so don’t expect any GaaS or online/MTX elements. According to the devs, the game will offer a 4-6 hour long filler free journey. And I’m OK with this. I don’t need games that can last 100 hours with boring side missions. So, more power to the devs.

As I said, INDUSTRIA 2 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. Blackmill Games has also confirmed that the game will take advantage of Lumen. And, as you will see, the game does look great. This is another case in which a small studio can deliver amazing visuals thanks to UE5. Plus, the game promises to have body dismemberment.

Players will have at their disposal five weapons. You will be able to upgrade these weapons with silencers, bigger magazines, or special attacks. Plus, there will be full voiceovers, music that changes with the action, and detailed sound design.

To be honest, I like everything I see in this gameplay video. From the looks of it, the devs have improved almost everything in the sequel. INDUSTRIA had a lot of promise but it didn’t click with me. The sequel though seems to hit all the right notes.

There is currently no ETA on when INDUSTRIA 2 will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more!

      1. Unreal is very easy to use and immediately gives you a fully rendered world with a character, without having to write a single line of code. It's not that surprising that this attract an amateur audience, where many games end up being some kind of walking sim.

  1. This isn't real gameplay. Look at those camera movements, they're unnatural for how an actual player would move, it's shot like a first person movie.

    1. Can be controller. Never the less lousy animaitons, pathetic ragdoll physics with a slap of UE5. This won't sell past the 10k units.

  2. The game looked good except when the flashlight was turned on. Then it looked flat and like it was from 15 years ago. Needs some ray tracing.
