Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Unofficial PC Port V1.4.7 Released & Fully Detailed

The modding team behind the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Brazil project has released a brand new version of it. For those unaware, this is an unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and below you can find all the details about its latest V1.4.7 version.

Version 1.4.7 improves the screen-space reflections, and fixes some of the high contrast shaders. Moreover, it improves the Spider-Bot UI shaders, as well as the GMO Puzzle Shaders. Players can also expect to find less placeholders in this build. Plus, there are fixes for the Advanced MCU Suit, the Miles Morales Into The Spider-Verse Suit and Peter’s Spider-Man Noir ITSV Suit.

At the end of the article, you can find two gameplay videos from it. These videos show off the latest build on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070Ti and on an NVIDIA RTX4080 Super. So, they will give you a pretty good idea of how it currently runs on high-end GPUs.

Right now, this unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 seems to be in a pretty good state. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a lot of work to be done. However, for an unofficial PC port of a triple-A PS5 game, this already looks and feels incredible. It’s really astonishing what this modding team has managed to create. As I’ve already reported, the game no longer suffers from major stutters. You might get some stutters on less powerful PC systems, but high-end PCs can get an enjoyable experience.

It’s also worth noting that the game also comes with several graphics settings to tweak. So, in theory, you should be able to improve performance on mid-tier PC systems by reducing them. Nevertheless, I suggest taking a look at the PC requirements that the modding team shared a while ago.

Now while Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Brazil supports both DX11 and Vulkan, the devs still recommend using DX11. That’s a bummer as DX11 does not support Ray Tracing. Thankfully, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 used RT only for its reflections. So, you are not missing much. At least in my opinion.

This whole thing started from a leaked PC dev build, which didn’t have any shaders or textures. So, with that in mind, this latest PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks phenomenal. And, in case you’re wondering, yes. You can play it from start to finish.

Sony hasn’t revealed anything official about bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC. Still, we should expect it to hit the PC in FY 2025. Or at least that’s what the recent Insomniac leak hinted at. If I had to guess, I’d say this game, Demon’s Souls or God of War: Ragnarok will be the next PS5 game we’ll get after the release of Ghost of Tsushima.

Finally, we won’t allow any links to this unofficial PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. However, I’m certain that most of you will be able to find it. All you have to do is search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, version 1.4.7 and Fitgirl. Just be careful though with what you’ll be downloading.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I finally have been able to a lot the time for this. I’ll plan to get through it in later July. Right now I’m finishing up Immortals of Aveum and will soon start Hellblade 2. I’ll finish Midnight Suns in early June. Then End of June into July will be Shadow of the Erdtree.

      1. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I liked the first Hellblade and the sequel being on Gamepass at no additional cost makes me want to give it a try. Immortals of Aveum gameplay had interested me in as a AAA single player shooter on PC with a different setting that I feel hadn’t seen really be done before in this way but I didn’t want to risk spending $70 on it at launch right before BG3, Starfield and Armored Core 6 and it’s on Gamepass now. I’m about half way through it now and its pretty much exceeded my expectations of it by a wide margin because I didn’t expect so much build diversity in this kind of game. Then Midnight Suns combat had interested me since it came out but I didn’t want to pay full price for it so I got it when it was in humble bundle a month or two ago. I like the combat and its cool using the marvel characters in an XCOM esque style. At least I enjoy it more than Persona 5 Tactica that had came out last year and felt so shallow.

  2. This game had such a huge amount of potential, and half of it is really good. But when I went through it (on the PS5 at launch), I quickly realized they crammed the other half of it with so much woke propaganda that I just hated playing through the rest of it.

Honestly, the ESBR needs to include a “Woke” tag on games now. We need to be told if this game includes Propaganda/Agendas. That would save so many people from wasting their life on trash.

    1. whaa! the game has gone woke whaa! I’m a cry-baby! whaa! <--that's you, that is. Grow up!

      1. Oh look another brand new astroturfing/marketing account (bet you him and Dagoat have the same IP btw) trying to bully people into consuming the goy slop. Sorry “chosen” the video game industry is about to post 100 million dollar losses + on games just like Hollywood. Let’s see how long you can get away with taxpayers funding it before the goy realize they are paying for the DEI, woke financial failures that cause inflation. Would be a shame if the minorities you claim to champion (while you sterilize African refugees in Israel) burn down Hollywood.

        1. lol, what? dude, you need to get out more, it’s sounds like your Uncle is diddling you way too much!

          1. Yeah they usually immediately block users that the (former)JIDF flags so that people with IQ’s higher than room temp don’t respond to them or see their post history. Then they mass report anything remotely critical of Israel on other accounts. The CEO of the company that owns Disqus is David A. Steinberg. Seeing they are passing laws worldwide where you can’t critique Israel they are going to push for jail time. The laws are already passed in hijacked countries like the the US.

          2. ha ha, look how triggered you are! Also I didnt block anyone or upvote as a “guest account”. You really are mentaly unstable, maybe you should start taking your meds again.

          3. If you clear browsing history or open another one where you aren’t logged in you can see the comment. Notice his upvote is from “guest vote”, which is just another shill account LOL.

      2. What do you expect from trump bootlickers? All of em are crybabies projecting their incel rage on everyone else. Dumbasses raging on woke stuff have the same iq as pro-putin russians or isis members.

      3. No, developers have become entirely childish and being rolled over by political activists. What you are is a weak little baby.

      4. “durka durka and dagoat are lovers”

XDDDDD Dude i’ve been in this community since 2013 (that’s 11 years now whoa) and this is so hilarious, these little beefs from the same 6-7 guys on this tiny tiny little website are so lovely, brings me nostalgia, back when internet was a lot simpler, freer and soulful.

thank you friend [btw love u both durka and dago]

    2. maybe too much anime/manga on my mind but ESBR made me think of the SBR from JJBA and ESBR from Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle.

    3. Why not just wait for reviews or even a few weeks for a sale of the games before you buy?

      1. because the woke stuff are paid by esg scores, its like being jewish and not having a kosher label on the products you buy.

        1. I mean even past review scores, why not just wait for a reviewer you like or mostly understand the opinions of to play and review the game before you buy? I like Yahtzee, Dunkey, Skill-Up and ACG reviews because even if I don’t agree with all of their takes I can still get a pretty good understanding of what I’d be getting into if i chose to spend my money and time on a particular game.

          1. ” I like Yahtzee, Dunkey,”

Yahtzee is woke and his site second wind is associated with sweet baby inc, dunkey liked the last of 2, skill up hates the quartering from what i remember and ACGs reviews spent a long time talking about the sound and the presentation and too little about the thing it matters, the gameplay, he is by far the least informative talk alot “i like the sound of my own voice” clown i have ever seen.

When it comes to new games most of them play alike, so tweets showcasing the wokeness are enough to find out if i should get it on a sale or skip entirely and by that i mean that not only modern games are super woke and cringe and broken on launch and badly optimized but the gameplay is meh and you can just play old games and get better gameplay or the same experience, so why bother?

          2. I was not asking for your opinion on those characters as reviewers but tbf quarterpounder is a waste of bandwith lol. I more wanted to say that there are plenty of different styles of reviews that you can watch to get a good idea of a game beyond just looking at an awful metric and being able to disseminate their reviews can help you get into newer games that are worth your time. I probably wouldnt have known about a game like Neon White when it came out if it weren’t for Dunkey’s video on it and it was one of my favorite games in that same year it released and I can’t really think of an old game that existed like it before it. There are plenty of bad games every year but there are plenty of cool and new titles to get into all the time as well.

      2. Agreed, but with this exception. When a game is getting glowing reviews from mainstream media but gamers are saying it’s average, sub-par or even worse then that’s a potential red flag to look into the game further. Not always the case but mainstream media is pushing sloppy developed games and Political Correctness just as much as Publishers.

        1. The PC stuff I don’t mind so much as long as the game is good or worth my time like BG3 but you’re right past a certain point its sad that we have to do so much research sometimes for the hobby we’re all supposed to broadly enjoy.

      3. Because I loved the first game back when it came out in 2018. From what I remember, there wasn’t any of that stuff in the first game, and I was excited to play the second one. Also, none of those reviews will mention that there is actual BLM side quests, or a full side quest to let some gay high schoolers ask each other to prom, or the fact that the majority of the citizens in New York randomly scream things as Spider-Man about how they are gay.

Or that Peter Parker is reduced to a crying baby half the time, and how Mary-Jane “Beaten with an ugly stick” Watson is more of a man/hero than baby peter, and how Peter needs Miles to help save him because he’s just a lame white male. … It’s really REALLY bad, and none of that was advertised.

But, that showed me, because I’ll never buy another game from Insomniac. EVER. They got one over on me, good on them, but I learned my lesson at least.

          1. I think its more the community and how engagement has shifted discourse around it. There are great games coming out all the time to play being made more and more accessible that are infinitely more enjoyable when you don’t have annoying whiners in your ear about why you should or shouldn’t enjoy something that you wanted to give an earnest try. You may not need to build a whole new PC but my latest rig is about 2ish years old now and I’ve been able to play a load of great games over the past year with about 20 already just this year.

          2. My PC was top-of-the-line in…2016 lol.

I’m amazed my GTX1080 is still going strong after 8 years.

Anyway, there aren’t many demanding new games that interest me. Only one that would tempt me to upgrade is the new S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

          3. Well I hope that means you’ve been finding other cool stuff to play. I had upgraded a 1070 I had owned a few years ago after I started struggling playing Guardians of the Galaxy at the quality I wanted but recently was able to find it another home after passing it around the kids rigs to a family friend. The 10 series is still a marvel. I do hope you’re able to enjoy stalker 2 as well, I know that is one on my radar as well!

          4. Mostly been playing Anno 1800. It can still handle that.

Yep, they don’t make them like that anymore 🙂

          5. Im passing my GTX 1060 6 GB to my nephew PC build, best 768p60 card for modern game, perfect 1080p60 card for older than 2020 games

          6. ohhhh you KNOW that new stalker is gonna be DROWNING in anti-russia propaganda, i wouldnt be surprise to see some “diversified” ukrainians just so that they appeal to western journalist sensibilities.

        1. I can understand being that excited for a title and am sorry you feel you ended up wasting your money. I havent played the first sony marvel spiderman just yet because I’ve been waiting for it to drop under $20 on PC so i can’t say as much about the first but I just can’t imagine that it was that far off the sequel. I do believe you should look into finding a reviewer who can definitely screen these games for you to save you the time and money.

        2. First game was woke too, had lgbt flags all over, and the Miles Morales expansion had BLM murals in the game.

    4. The woke stuff are paid by esg scores, its like being jewish and not having a kosher label on the products you buy.

  3. We need unofficial pc ports of games Sony refuses to release, like Bloodborne/Demon’s Souls or Gravity Rush. This game will get ported guaranteed, it will probably get ported earlier thanks to these guys, lol.

  4. All these crybabies going this has gone woke that has gone woke, learn to live with it. We exist. We ain't going nowhere. Sincerely, nobody gives a f*k about what you think anymore.
