  1. Ah there it is! News about CryEngine! I’ll follow them closely out of the desire and need for more competition for Unreal.
I wonder though how they’re surviving on the shoulders of this game alone, Crytek is so weird…

    1. Have you seen how much the entire game cost with still the microtransaction? Go take a look, it will show how and why they keep going with this business model. Because a sucker is born before you can finish saying steam.

  2. Still hopeful CryEngine remains relevant for years to come. Need to keep some major players available to keep UE5 from becoming a monopoly.

    1. Thank god Kingdom Come: Deliverance II stuck with Cry Engine
and a Crysis 4 update can’t come soon enough

    2. Major players? LOL. CryEngine is irrelevant and almost nobody use it anymore. The engine hasn’t been updated for years. Crytek had a chance to beat UE5, but those greedy turkish kebab bois blew it and ran the company into the ground.

        1. Wut? The last one was 5.7.1 two years ago and it was just a mere bug-fixing update. They killed forum, removed source code from the github and even their documentation server is down.

          1. This ad (article) is about Crytek’s internal build which is not available to public.
