Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be released in a few days and Microsoft has shared some new screenshots for it. These screenshots show off some of the environments, as well as some of the characters. So, go ahead and take a look at them.
In Hellblade 2, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. In the sequel, Senua will face a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
Players will be able to experience the world through Senua’s eyes and ears, as a Celtic warrior who experiences psychosis. Moreover, the game will have a brutal and visceral combat system, that seems similar to the one used in the first title.
From what we’ve seen so far, Hellblade 2 retains the same gameplay mechanics of the first game. So, if you loved the first Hellblade, you’ll also most likely enjoy this one.
Microsoft will release Hellblade 2 on May 21st. The game will be powered by Unreal Engine 5, and it will take advantage of both Nanite and Lumen. From the looks of it, this will be the game that showcases what UE5 can achieve. Or at least until some other triple-A games, like Marvel 1943, come out.
Finally, you can find here the game’s official PC system requirements. Hellblade 2 will support both NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0 at launch. And, since it will be using Lumen, you’ll need those upscalers in order to hit high framerates. After all, Lumen is basically a Ray Tracing solution (so you can’t expect to be running Ultra Lumen at Native 4K with over 60fps, even on an RTX 4090).
Enjoy the screenshots and stay tuned for more!

Review embargo on release date screams of the lack of confidence they have with the game
How to be confident of this ? this is barely a game like its predecessor .
Nothing wrong with a short game lol…. People whine when it’s to long and ppl whine when it’s short. So all in all people like to whine
Sony does the exact same thing, and on their garbage movies too.
Oh okay if you say so
The first one was a great experience, let’s see…. Good thing it’s “free” on game pass
The guy who plays PC games with a controller and finds the utter t*rd fest of Sony exclusives enjoyable is into this game, why am I not surprised
There is not a single post where you say you like a game.
You just complain and bash others. You are not a gamer so what are you doing here?
Of course I’m not a gamer. I’m not an ugly virgin who has an emotional attachment to studios that rip me off.
Gg, Case closed
3 days until the release and no gameplay shown…

Nothing new there, they stitched together all the official gameplay videos that were released and tried to fake the video as “new gameplay”.
That’s a bunch of cutscenes.
this is not real gameplay or this game is 99% cinematic animations ?
They have shown game play but okay
thats not even gameplay… those are those awkward loading cutscenes between gameplay and engine issues. literally just like calisto protocol was (glad they got shut down)
Let’s hope this game is not going to end ninja theory.
Cool, but I’ll surely need a new GPU in order to run it smoothly. They’ll have to wait
Not really
black bars and blurry images with exagerated post processing effects ! this game is garbage
Quite funny that, this very game’s reveal is what xbox-head Phil Spencer used to sell the idea of next-gen consoles and yet the PR for the game towards the actual launch is nearly non-existent compared what should’ve been ideally.
