Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition feature

Horizon Forbidden West PC Patch 1.1.47.0 Released, Bringing DLSS Frame Generation and Stability Improvements

Nixxes has released Title Update 1.1.47.0 for the PC version of Horizon: Forbidden West. According to the release notes, this patch brings DLSS Frame Generation and stability improvements, as well as various optimizations. So, let’s now take a closer look at it.

Title Update 1.1.47.0 adds the option to remap the TAB key. However, it does not bring any improvements for left handed players. That’s a bummer and we don’t know when – and if – Nixxes will add the ability to remap certain keys that are hardlocked right now.

With this patch, custom difficulty settings will now work correctly. Plus, there is improved Shieldwing responsiveness when using mouse and keyboard controls. This update also fixes graphic corruption on waterfalls when using DLSS Frame Generation, as well as lighting issues that could occur in Tenakth settlements.

Finally, this update adds the option to disable letterboxing in cinematics when using ultra-wide aspect ratios via the game’s launcher. Plus, it fixes visual issues with save previews when HDR is enabled.

Like always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

    1. cp77 a lot worse though go look at those giraffes and soft tranneemans oof. This one is the model of the government fugly as sin types we’ve seen for many decades now.

      1. CDPR lost their founder, got government backing (banker puppets) and adopted ESG. They hired diversity hires/activists who ran off the Game Director (Konrad Tomaszkiewicz) of Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk initial design with false accusations of bullying that he was cleared of. They are just Bioware 2.0. The talent is bailing, they will hire freelancers and groups like Sweet Baby Inc instead of having in house talent and Witcher 4 will be awful. It will be just another bait and switch to a girl boss with themes of the patriarchy and oppression olympics where one demographic is scapegoated while they accuse others of racism and bigotry.

        1. yeah gov funding must have been a mischpucka mafia scam really, duda aka apfelbaumsteinberg prob just took a skim there or something. How a studio tied in with GOG ownership needs gov funding? W the UE5 switch mods will be cut way back also and cpdur isn’t too good at optimizing games. They also always buy their ip and depending on source material you see the strength and weakness. TW3 whole books, cp77 some comic books board games, the difference shows.

      2. I won’t play HFW until there’s a mod to fix Aloy’s f’ed up McDonalds face. At least CP2077 has mods to help alleviate some of the mental illness… I fully expect the next Witcher game to be built with ESG credits in mind! CDPR is a husk of something previously respectable.

        1. I just don’t see more than just more of the first game tbh, improved gfx maybe bigger better world but looks the same to me not worth the hassle. 77 mods to fix some of it usually get deleted by the nexisnotsee militant tranneee scum admins. But sick stuff is fine including inverted crosses and all the baphomet hand//body signs, masonic hand signs, and just gross drag queens with sick traneestein bodies. Check the images section you’ll see these cultists all over. In a game abou transhumanism where anybody could change to anything this militant politics makes no sense. Can’t NOT play as a tranneee in that game really, obvious too wide shoulders for “femv” and softness to the other.

    1. Actually worse, i didnt have issues previously, now i have pretty bad artifacting around the bottom right hud element with frame generation enabled.

      1. You mean the weird blurring thing that happens around the box where the text/stuff is? I noticed that too. Doesn’t make sense as it doesn’t happen to that extent in other frame gen games. Also even at higher frame rates with frame gen there’s a lot of ghosting/object occlusion/deletion around Aloy’s head/bow for example. Fortunately the performance/stutter issues are gone at least. So that’s a plus.

  1. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the first one. These open world games are an absolute waste of time. Running around for 1000 hrs of foolishness. Every corner is an NPC with some foolishness for you to do.

    1. It’s not that long from what I remember I played it through and for a bit more but got bored of it pretty quickly. It’s like one of those cringey kevin costner cheesathon movies, one big opera. It’s just more addiction but sp at least limits it more than MP online games. At least w RDR2 I learned how to play poker, different fishes, old guns, plants, etc so there was something useful there at least.

      1. I guess if you are actually learning something then it can be enjoyable. Maybe you hit the nail on the head there. Because I haven’t learned a damn thing from horizon
