Dragon's Dogma 2 feature-2

New official gameplay videos for Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcase pretty much all of its different classes

In the past couple of weeks, Capcom released a new set of short gameplay videos for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that showcase almost all of its different classes. As such, we’ve decided to share them in one big article.

In these videos, we get to see the Sorcerer, Archer, Fighter, Mage, Warrior and Thief. We also get to see the Magick Archer vocation that excels in long-range combat with their magickal arrows. Not only that but also get our first look at the Mystic Spearhand who combines melee and magic.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a single-player, narrative-driven action RPG. In this game, you get to make a bunch of choices, like how your character looks, their job, who joins your team, and how you handle different parts of the game. The game uses the RE Engine, and promises to have great physics and smart enemies. And, since RE Engine is a really efficient engine, we can assume that it will run smoothly on a wide range of PCs.

In November 2023, Capcom shared the game’s official PC system requirements. According to the PC specs, the game will have some Ray Tracing effects. However, we still don’t know which effects will be enhanced by them. My guess is that we’ll get RT reflections and RT shadows.

Capcom will release Dragon’s Dogma 2 on March 22nd. The game will be also using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at launch. Given Capcom’s history, though, we expect the Japanese team to remove one or two years after the game’s release.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Capcom should stick to horror, it’s where they shine.
I want to vomit when I look at these videos.

    1. Boring ….. Horror games and movies are boring …..

And 9 times out of ten are just another Zombie Shooter

    3. Yes, they shine at horror (zombie horror anyway, I think konami takes that prize) but, what exactly makes you vomit? Or are you just trolling, like always?

      1. It’s the same thing as comparing fight scenes in the first Matrix movie to run-of-the-mill Hollywood action movies with sh*t tons of camera cuts.
The camera shaking and everything else that’s happening on the screen gives me a headache.

  2. This is basically a reboot of Dragon’s Dogma 1, which was an average game. The classes, monsters and environment are incredibly similar.

It would have been interesting at $30 or something.
But at $70 with Denuvo and Enigma DRM, nah.

    1. This is a proper sequel, for anyone that played the first the various improvments on several aspects of the game are quite obvious. Also is clearly more amabitious.

I also wouldn’t call the first one an average game, it’s one of the more uniques ARPGs with probably the best combat in the genre to date even a decade later.
Not bad, nor great just a good game. Specially if you take into account the trouble development behind the scenes.

      1. The game still has the best tutorial section of any game I’ve played. They just throw you into that boss fight fairly early and when you climb him and start stabbing him in the head …. well there was nothing else like it at the time and really nothing since in the opening part of a game

      2. Dragon Dogma’s low popularity was due it releasing just few months after Skyrim
It should’ve released either 6 months before or 1+ year after Skyrim

  3. Honestly, when was the last time the industry had a decent Action RPG game besides Soul games? I think Witcher 3 was a somewhat “good” ARPG game which was almost 9 years ago. I hope DD2 won’t disappoint.

  4. Waiting for confirmation about this game and Sweet Baby. inc involvement, i’ll refund that sh*t so quick if SB is involved

  5. Black people in a European medieval fantasy setting are a huge turn off. They make the thing look like a caricature.
