THQ Nordic has announced that Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be officially coming to PC in 2024. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a trailer that you can find below.
Disney Epic Mickey is a vibrant 3D platformer that originally came on Nintendo Wii in 2010. So, consider Rebrushed is a remastered version of it. In other words, the game will have enhanced graphics.
In this game, players will be able to explore a reimagined Wasteland, full of Disney’s timeless characters and stories. Their main weapon will be a magic brush. As such, they will be able to paint to create and thinner to alter.
Players will encounter various iconic characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first creation, as they travel between lands in Wasteland. They’ll also be able to collect virtual Disney pins, tackle creative challenges, and uncover secrets, all while exploring classic platforming levels inspired by animated films and shorts.
The remaster promises to feature advanced gameplay with new abilities. According to the game’s description, Mickey will now have new moves such as dash, ground pound and sprinting.
Finally, the game promises to offer high replayability with multiple endings based on your unique playstyle and decisions.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

Looking forward to this, for a change. Spector is a genius by the way.
He’s also a coward, woudn’t make a Deus Ex game today because it’s predictions where too accurate.
I vaguely remember this.
People were hyping up Warren Spector like crazy and then the game dropped and it fell off the face of the Earth and nobody ever talked about it again.
This game has always been a slow twist of a knife in my chest about how Warren Spector went from making the best game ever made, Deus Ex, into directing …this… instead of being given the chance to assemble a new studio to make a sequel. It hurts every day.
I remember he wanted to do HL2 Episode at the time, but Valve wasn’t budging. Therefore he went to Disney in effort to make his studio some money.
I can’t understand even today why Valve wouldn’t be open to another Developer making a HL2 Episode 3. It’s not like Valve hasn’t done this before with Half Life. Gearbox developed Opposing Forces.
thry allergic to number 3 , haven’t you realized it yet ??
I don’t know if that’s true with the Gaben but numbers do have power with a lot of superstitious people.
3 Considered by Numerologists to be bad luck.
13 Probably the most common bad luck number and why most high-rise buildings here go from the 12th floor to the 14th floor. Also Friday the 13th considered bad luck.
7 Good luck in gambling in the West. Bad luck in China.
You missed 4!!! sounds similar to death in China, they avoid it at all costs for the chonese market, many tech products skipped the number.
Easy solution: Just name the game whatever the hell they want, like Alyx VR, stupid excuse for not releasing a game if you ask me.
That wasn’t Valves decision, that was Sierra.
And Valve hated that.
The way I remember it was that Valve wanted to work on future projects anyway but what you say does make sense because Sierra was the publisher.
Yeah, but they didn’t want a third party potentially mismanaging their IP.
OP came out amazing, one of the best Expacs of all time, but back then that wasn’t always the case and even still Valve still sees it in a bad light due to not being made by them and comissioned by Sierra.
Sierra was right then, the expansions are great, better than their HL2 episodes…
I agree, but apparently another company taking the reigns really made Valve butthurt.
They’re protective to the point that every company trying to make EP3 got burned.
Yeah I’ll play this. Warren Spector is a God. Single handedly kept Ion Storm afloat.
I admire the man for his talent and experience but he did sell out to the console crowd. He did finally admit in an interview around 10 year ago that the PC version of Deus Ex: Invisible War was “a mere afterthought”. That game was painful to play after playing the masterpiece that was the first Deus Ex.
Seriously, Invisible War was so bad that I gave up after playing it for 3 hours. Calling it “a mere afterthought” is being way too kind.
Harvey Smith went from a QA tester on Deus Ex to a lead designer on Deus Ex Invisible War. If I look at my original jobs: yeah I did a terrible job there too.
Meanwhile he went on to create Dishonored, my favourite game of all time, one that I’m still playing 12 years later.
Never heard of this tbh. John you missed the Elden Ring DLC trailer though, late june release.
Why do thay have trailers with no gameplay big wast of time money and resorces
Marketing. Like the “You won’t believe how low insurance is” with a picture of a well endowed hottie as the picture.
Or the menu at fast food places, the food never looks like that when you get it.
Yeah, marketing has always been lies.
ahem…..Ad Men prefer to call it embellishing.
but do they reserve that right tho? That’s the true question.
Not sure what you’re asking me. My comment was intended to be funny. I guess it didn’t come off that way.
mine was supposed to be a bit cinic and sarcastic but all in all in the same manner 🙂
Wasn’t really much of a trailer since that was the intro of the game. You can find a few seconds worth of gameplay of the Switch version extracted from Nintendo’s Partner Direct though. IGN and other channels posted it.
Gratitude is contagious, and your blog is ground zero for spreading the positive infection. Thank you for the uplifting vibes!
I just looked up the original version on Wii.
Man I’d be willing to maybe get this for my young nephews – but forget it if Disney gets one cent. I don’t support child s*x changes, grooming, or pedophilia.
(Is this one of those things that copyright expired?)
Just pirate it, it’s safe that way, it’s too easy to send your money to evil people nowadays, as trivial as paying taxes.

Why can’t we have Donald Duck or Uncle Scrooge games instead?
They’re way more based characters, and especially Carl Barks and Don Rosa adventures are endless sources of inspiration.
The themes are always more mature and could attract even more people, I think.
What a waste of great potential, just to stay childish and politically correct.
I’ll never understand that move.
This is why comics will always be better than games anyway.
Not a disney fan.
As pc gamer iam very happy that we will finaly play it! I played Epic mickey 2 when it releasedon pc in 2013 and it was amazing cant wait for it! But they must laso make a game with Black Pete where the last boss will be Mickey.
How’s this game? I’m a big mickey mouse fan and actually liked castle of illusion.
Your blog is a gratitude fireworks display, lighting up the sky with bursts of positivity. Thank you for the dazzling show!
