Leaked Gameplay Footage for Ubisoft’s Project U

Project U is a new kind of session-based co-op shooter from Ubisoft. And, from the looks of it, someone has leaked some gameplay footage from its ongoing closed beta phase. So, go ahead and take a look at it.

Ubisoft revealed Project U almost a year ago. In this game, players unite in massive battles against overwhelming legions of machines.

Now although we don’t have enough details about Project U, we have at least a pretty vague idea of the PC system it will require to run. You see, Ubisoft has already shared the PC requirements for its Closed Beta phase. And, most likely, these PC requirements will be similar to those of the final version.

So, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 570. Ubisoft recommended using an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

You should also temper your expectations as the following gameplay video does not show much. The leaker also did everything possible to hide his/her name. As such, the video is full of white lines.

Anyway, you can go ahead and take a look at the leaked gameplay video in this link.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. Terrible video quality aside, this is another live service game, based on horde mode.
We get new franchises but with recycled ideas from +10 years ago.

  2. why do they keep making this plastic looking uninspired games?
who will play them? i mean people who want Fortnite are already satisfied with it or with the other dozens like it
game companies think people are robots that has 0 taste in games and that they will come by the millions to play and spend money on their garbage
check palworld, that game had a premise which is “pokemons with guns” and idea no one did before that’s why it was popular
so ubisoft how about you do something outside the box for once?

    1. game companies think people are robots that has 0 taste in games

Weebs have been watching Japanese anime for decades.

Companies don’t just think people have 0 taste, people have 0 taste.

    2. I’m afraid that you answered your own question. Publishers are businesses and a business’ sole purpose is to make profits. They have no other reason to exist. Successful businesses make products that a lot of customers will pay for. If they don’t then they will change their products or wither away and die.

The fact that a Publisher like Ubisoft thrives financially is the proof that customers will pay for any drivel that they churn out. If you don’t believe that Ubisoft makes a lot of profit then check their Yearly Financial Statements.

Simply put, for as long as a large number of the gaming community buys sh*t games Ubisoft and other Publishers will churn out sh*t games.

        1. That has nothing to do with financial success. Probably they didn’t think there would be enough money to be made in those games. Like I said, if you really want to know the truth about whether a company is a financial success then look at the Annual Financial Reports. Anything else and you are just wishing things were different but can’t understand why they aren’t different.

      1. yeah but stuff like assasins creed, ghost recon, prince of persia are actually their own thing. this just looks like a copy of fortnite. what he’s saying is why copy fortnite, the people that play fortnite, play fortnite. why would they switch to this?

actually this looks like a mix of fortnite and suicide squad. the latter currently being panned by critics. so looks like another fail if you ask me. i’m guessing their making it to “add value” to their subscription service they’re trying to sell people. but i’m sure it will also be full of micro-transactions

        1. I guess they are just doing the usual try to copy a huge financial success (Fortnite) to try to get some of the billions of dollars in revenue that the game generates from microtransactions. The odds are that Ubisoft will fail at this but the temptation is too much for them.

This gambling by Publishers has been going on forever. Were you around for the next WoW killers? Many Publishers wanted a piece of that money too.

    3. These games are pretty formulaic to their core, don’t take a lot of creativity and financial risks to make. Even your run of the mill indie devs can make one and be able to make some quick profits and that’s exactly what most of them are doing nowadays.

  3. Anything is better than another 10 years of Fortnite, COD and Counter Strike. The FPS space has become the most stale and boring genre by far.

    1. Only if you look at AAA releases, vut that’s every genre.
Try out Trenpang2 and System Shock Remake, 2 of my favorite games of last year.

  4. Thanks I have just been looking for information about this subject for a long time and yours is the best Ive discovered till now However what in regards to the bottom line Are you certain in regards to the supply

  5. I have access to this alpha it’s not bad there’s an idea it’s a massive 40 player coop game with battle royale mechanics it will probably be an f2p for the graphics we’re between fortnite and overwatch I would say.

  6. ubisoft needs a safety standdown everybody stop what they’re doing all go into the conference room and have a pow wow heart to heart come to jesus….find the people responsible for all the stupid over the last 7 years and then ask them to leave….I liked odyssey…i may have like it more if it weren’t called assassins creed.
