Focus Entertainment released its latest first-person shooter, Atomic Heart, on PC last week. And, since the game uses Unreal Engine 4, the first mods for it have appeared online. And no, there is still no mod for the header image (oh you know what we’re talking about).
Anyway, the first mod we present you today adds some custom FOV modes. This mod is a must-have for those that want a wider FOV, so make sure to download it. Additionally, Mundfish is already working on a patch that will add an official FOV slider to the game.
Then we have the DLSSTweaks Mod. This a wrapper DLL that can force DLAA onto most DLSS-supported games, along with tweaking scaling ratios & DLSS 3.1 presets.
Lastly, there is a QoL Tweaks Mod that you can download from here. This mod features custom FOV, enables high animation budget and adds a Walk Mode. The “High animation budget” should theoretically resolve the game’s 30fps animations that can be observed in cut-scenes. On the other hand, the new Walk Mode will allow you to slowly explore the game’s environments.
Lastly, make sure to read our PC Performance Analysis for this game!

These are all things that should’ve been there since day one, especially the FoV setting. Kudos to the modders for getting on these so quickly, and shame on the developers for omitting these. Whatever the hell happened to quality control?
Quality control is gone a looooong time ago, replaced by beta testers who pay to be beta testers….the industry is evolving backwards
We are in the era of devolution. I don’t know of an industry that haven’t gone backwards. Music, Movies & so many others in these times.
Quality Control turned into Denuvo Control. Like always I blame the customer. For once I’d love to see a game release and people refuse to buy it until these basic features are implemented.
Yeah, sadly not happening in this lifetime. There are just way too many consoomers out there for their current business model to fail.
Good post! We will be linking to this particularly great post on our site. Keep up the great writing

You’re so awesome! I don’t believe I have read a single thing like that before. So great to find someone with some original thoughts on this topic. Really.. thank you for starting this up. This website is something that is needed on the internet, someone with a little originality!
With all the drawbacks with some gameplay segments and technical standpoints, that could be easily resolved with additional development time, it’s one of the best FPS games I have ever played.
Support the game so we can have a sequel.
A game like this comes out from a small dev team and people still complain about something… Just be glad it runs good on all types of hardware and does not have stutters.
These guys just need something to b*tch about. It makes them feel important that every problem be reduced to the current evils that they see in the world, whether it be Denuvo, or wokeness, or a dev forgetting that their main audience should always be a single, white male from the US.
Also the game has the worst FSR implementation.
