WILD HEARTS will get a CPU performance patch next week

Omega Force has revealed that it’s working on a PC performance patch for WILD HEARTS that will go live next week. According to the devs, this update should improve performance across mid-high end CPUs.

WILD HEARTS releases officially on February 17th. However, we’ll slightly delay our PC Performance Analysis until Omega Force releases this PC performance update.

It’s also worth noting that Omega Force is working on DLSS and FSR support which will arrive in a future patch. However, there is no word yet on whether we’ll get DLSS 3 or DLSS 2 support.

EA and KOEI Tecmo describe WILD HEARTS as a unique twist on the hunting genre where technology gives you a fighting chance against fearsome beasts infused with the ferocious power of nature itself. In this game, players will take on these creatures alone or hunt with friends in seamless co-op.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. I have long stopped buying Japanese games on PC.

After so many lousy Japanese console-to-PC ports that do not support keyboard-mouse, with bugs, performance issues, I learnt my lesson.

Features as simple as the game pausing when you hit alt-tab, or being able to change font size, is alien to Japanese developers. $5 Western indie games made by a handful of people, have all these features.

Meanwhile, this Japanese developer wants $69 for their lousy console port. $69?! Get lost.

    1. Don’t say that out loud man the from software Kock Suckers don’t like this type of talk. Such a huge studio with multi billions in revenue can’t make a game that has proper KB+M controls and unlocked Frame rate. What a shame. But why should they change when gamers wallets says, “yes, everything is perfect”.

    2. Like any aaa game, wait 3-4 months at least – Then consider them after they been somewhat patched up from the usual beta and sometimes even alpha strate their released in.
