KRAFTON has just released The Callisto Protocol on PC, and we have some bad news for all its PC fans. Unfortunately, the game suffers from shader compilation stutters. Not only that, but there are numerous optimization issues currently on PC.
Let’s start with the shader compilation stutters. Contrary to other games, The Callisto Protocol does not pre-cache its shaders. Thus, and similarly to a lot of other Unreal Engine 4 games, the game will compile them in real-time, while playing. As a result of that, PC gamers will be getting a lot of stutters, especially in the first couple of areas.
The Callisto Protocol supports Ray Tracing for Transmission, Shadows and Reflections. However, these RT effects are as unoptimized as they can get in this title. Hell, the Ray Tracing Shadows are awfully pixelated and can look worse than their rasterized versions.
For our initial tests, we used an Intel i9 9900K with 16GB of DDR4 at 3800Mhz and NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 Founders Edition. We also used Windows 10 64-bit, and the GeForce 526.86 driver.
So, take a look at the following screenshot. As you can see, both our CPU and GPU were underused in this scene, resulting in a below-60fps experience. Again, this would have been fine if the game was stressing at least the CPU.
Even when we disabled the game’s Ray Tracing effects, we were getting massive drops in this scene. At 1440p/Max Settings/No RT, we were dropping from 130fps to 71fps. Furthermore, this is a linear game with small environments, and there is nothing on screen to justify this underwhelming performance. Seriously, it’s shocking witnessing a linear game like The Callist Protocol running this badly in 2022.
Lastly, we aren’t the only ones experiencing these PC performance issues. Steam currently has numerous threads in which PC gamers express their displeasure with the game’s performance. Various media publications (that reviewed the game) also report underwhelming PC performance.
I’ll update this article with a video (once YouTube processes it) in which we showcase the game’s benchmark scene!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Report from xbox series x users also report big framerate drops
Sick of the “release first fix later” mentality.
1. Blow people away with hype trailers
2. Release broken product
3. Repeat
i was never hyped for this it ended up exactly like i expected it to turn out.
They got to see my buy then refund later mentality.
You would’ve thought by now that any developer using Unreal Engine 4 would know that on PC you do shader compilation.
How do they even test this before release on a PC? Or do they just play the console versions.
And this is not the first shader issue with Unreal Engine 4, recent games using the engine have the same issues, and are still not perfect (Gotham Knights).
Unreal Engine has always been one of the best gaming engines due to its performance on any hardware, but I do admit lately it is so weird to see nothing being done to alleviate these issues, even by Epic.
Developers should stop using this engine until Epic resolve these issues.
They have resolved it. They made Unreal 5 and they are waiting on MS with Direct Storage SSD asset streaming. MS is probably in no hurry because the SSD on the Xbox sucks compared to the PS5.
Unreal 4? Sucks.
They are nearly the same speed, if any, Series X SSD is 2 or 3 seconds behind, what surprises me is how much Sony managed to brainwash you, all PS5 Remaster game versions run on a NORMAL SATA SSD on PC and even better than on PS5 if your hardware is up to the task. Just stfu.
lol spider man remastered take 1 sec more on my 3 years old SATA ssd AS comapred to PS5, guess what console peasants will now have something to brag about now xD.
“How do they even test this before release on a PC?”, The answer is simple, they obviously didn’t. 🙂
“You would’ve thought” and that’s where it all went wrong. Because you think and they just wanna sell sell sell. Same problems every release.
So which game company doesn’t want to sell sell sell? The fact is that if they continue like this, sell sell sell will be followed by refund, refund, refund, which not what they want. I did it and man, I even bought a new monitor to play this (though, no regrets there – 32″ ftw).
Damn, brother. I’m sorry for your experience. Reminds me of when I upgraded from a GTX 690 to a GTX Titan x just to play the witcher. We’ve all been there, bought new hardware for experiences. I find the PC platform gets disrespected because of enabling behavior. I get it, we all get excited but it’s time to stop buying games at launch and wait till they are ready for consumption. You doing have to do something on the date that they tell you to. We are not puppets. As humans they even tell us when to celebrate and when to love. I personally don’t celebrate and holidays because of this notion.
It is not about selling BUT about doing more careful, sophisticated approach of writing codes. and, partly this is because of the genius modding community. When it comes to PC, some devs deliberately write bugged out codes leaving out for the modders to iron out post release (the list is so long that a Google search is better option rather than mentioning some honorables. okay, I am giving you one. Batman Arkham Knight). I think more refunding & halting to buy can significantly alleviate this situation BUT won’t completely diminish it. Sometimes I think nothing will change because the devs even know themselves that their paygrades just don’t even work to do proper justifications as what we PC gamers expect & like in the first place.
The answer is simple. Lazy a$$ garbage devs who just run & test console builds. The first big upset was FFVII:Remake Intergrade. Oh man, that $hit even shipped with source code (if I am not mistaken) & I forgave them because they are Square Enix. But then again, even Iron Galaxy Studios hobbyists have included shader pre-compilation in Uncharted 4 & TLL. So, this so called Striking Distance or, whatever $hit that is, will have no escape from the excuse that “Oh no. We have noticed this and are working on it”. Every Gears of War game (except the Original Remaster on UE3 D3D12 build) ran like butter & soap. Then there is Days Gone, Assetto Corsa: Competizione (FFS, this is even a racing sim that runs insane), Scorn with ZERO issues.
Unreal Engine strikes again. I give it a few years before 99% of games on PC launch this broken, as they all move to Unreal Engine stutterfest crap engine.
Pyke, you are 100% spot on. Unreal use to be the engine you know the game if gonna run good. Now, it’s a stuttery fest. Can’t turn to a new fresh scene without stuttering away. I play games at 1080p because I want that high refresh rate. But to be playing at 120fps then all of a sudden 5fps for a split second. Such an immersion breaker. But besides that, anyone that preordered this deserves what’s coming. Playing any PC game on day one is asking for the inferior experience. We all know it takes 1-2 years to patch it all up.
I wouldn’t exactly say run good, look good yes, unreal engine 3 even had its issues too, i remember games like Deadpool, Remember Me, Bioshock Infinite, Batman Arkham Asylum/City having the same stutter issues, and they still do to this day, some games are just worse than others,
But yeah Unreal Engine 4 has been by far the worst as of late, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the worst performing UE4 game i tested so far, the game would actually freeze for a second or two in some of the worlds and the devs didnt bother to fix it, Sackboy was another but the devs actually cared and are trying to fix it all.
On my 170Hz VRR monitor with low framerate compensation anything above 40fps feels awesome to play but these sudden stutters can indeed ruin the experience even when game is running at around 170fps on average.
For ALL the ignorant a**es like you, UE 5.1 just released with some improvements to this, and this game is UE4 which no game will be in 2 years from now.
It’s Denuvo as always ruin the gaming experience, they added denuvo in last minute , now they are facing stuttering and framerate dropped issue
People on steam forum is bashing anyone who suggested this. Saying “you have no proof this ever happens”. Smh ?? leave them be in their own hell
too many @sslickers lurking in there
the cause is called post-purchase rationalization (a cognitive bias) due to being financially invested.
I have written it above but this time, I will keep writing it everywhere. Even RPCS3 runs game better than this $hit.
Not always. RE8 still has Denuvo and it runs fine.
When I played RE8 I had an RTX3080, 32GB of ram and an I79900k and the game stuttered loads. I wasnt the only one having the problem, it was reported and complained about a lot and by a lot of people. I havet played it since so I dont know if thats changed, but it definitely was not running fine when it released or even two weeks after release.
Then you should read this release note from EMPRESS who cracked Resident Evil 8 game she’s also fixed shutter and animation problem which was caused by (Denuvo + Capcom own DRM)
Modern Vintage Gamer (MVG) made video about Resident Evil 8 shutter issues on his channel..
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9d2805654554c0b49661d5eb383d04f4d4b82e3c2b6742ff723d3b7e741f7603.png
I know of that, but again: Capcom fixed the stuttering without removing Denuvo. The information available at the time was the culprit was Capcom’s own DRM. Because, for some f*cked up reason, they felt the need to implement their own DRM on top of Denuvo.
They put 12 layers of vm drm and then people wonder why no one can run their games and have perfomance issues and crashes.
They fixed this shutter issues after they called out by hackers it’s hilarious that they need hacker to fix their games
On that I agree completely.
First time seeing this. If id known this at the time I would have refunded that POS. I have it sitting in my Steam list with 1 hour played.
same thing was said about deathbloop crashes, empress said it wasnt denuvo but their drm, so this is a case of bloating.
You need an eye exam , she said it was caused by the capcom drm
Resident Evil 8 had huge shutter issues which was also caused by Denuvo + Capcom DRM
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c0789db92f762b5e4e5bdff4714c9e26d66638017975b490022975a0652eceae.jpg
Stop lying it was caused by the capcom drm, not denuvo
You better need some sanity check. None is lying here except your love for Denuvo. What do you think a dev & publisher team like Capcom would openly criticize Denuvo for the sake of ultimate truth? Logics please.
Define fine… Because I noticed a lot of PC gamers have a very broad definition of fine. Then come to find out, they are generally Xbox xpats, that came rushing to PC after Don Mattricks announcements.
Fine as in fine. Stuttering is no longer present in the game. If anything, it’s the engine’s own crappy DX12 rendering that sux, which was clearly backported to previous RE games.
I wholeheartedly disagree with those lies from Capcom PR stunt.
You think Denuvo still present in the game is a PR statement from Capcom?
01. Denuvo messing things up
02. Capcom DRM messing things up
03. Denuvo and Capcom DRM messing things up
04. Denuvo messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
05. Capcom DRM messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
06. Denuvo and Capcom DRM messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
07. The rendering pipeline iteself has streaming issues regardless of Denuvo/Capcom DRM
Even if 07 is true, anyone can question whether the streaming system was tweaked to facilitate the DRM layer functioning. In that regard, Denuvo &(or,) Capcom DRM are(is) culprit(s). This applies to 02 as well to not publicly bash & uphold their so called profit milking catalyst Denuvo & Co. So, I really think it is Capcom’s PR stunt. I will be keeping a close eye on their next gen RE update to verify this for one more time (unfortunately though, RE4 Remake will be using a similar iteration of RE engine).
The issue here is the DX12 rendering more than anything else. Just look how much worse is RE2 running in DX12, despite the fact that Denuvo is gone.
This type of stuttering literally has nothing to do with Denuvo. It’s a problem that basically every UE4 title has launched with on PC over the last couple years
not only denuvo
“Its their first game” understandable. But how they’re gonna f*k this up so well ?, Well that’s definitely understandable.
Not their first games. These are all seasoned Devs. They’ve done this before. These are ex visceral people mostly.
Yes, I watched the documentaries and still surprised how they completely ignored the PC version over PS5. Probably due to the push for releasing the game on date. If this has been delayed a month or so it would’ve been better. Look out for more this year (cough) Witcher 3 next (cough) gen.
Yes I have a feeling they will break the hell out of an 7 year old game. I saw the reveal video of the next-gen version. They are all sitting at the table as if they had something to do with the game at all. Talking about ‘we’. The original team is long gone.
The Clownshow Protocol
Failisto Protocol
Ma’ man, Strikes again. ???
even if it worked perfeclty its a scripted b movie with everything i hate about “modern” more like x360 era game design.
So lets see, this game has nearly everythig i hate in video games since x360 era.
Cinematic, real actors, too many cutscenes interupting the gameplay at least for the first 2 hours or so, linear, scripted, garbage zoomed in over the shoulder camera, too dark, repettive gameplay, squezing through gaps to load the next area in the memory and removing the previous one, meaning you cant go back and explore, no puzzles, stupid squat crouching stealth sections, generic weapons and enemies design that are a variation of hollywood zombie or mudman monstrocity, too many slow animations while doing basic things that are unskipable, forced slow walking sections, awful optimization, generic sci fi tm, denuvo drm bad checkpoint placing and stupid dlc practises.
this game is bare bone piece of $hit the moment I saw the first 20 min of IGN. Literally there was nothing BUT only a 3min of button pressing gameplay (which seems to be heavily scripted sequence). I would prefer the QTEs of RYSE than this cutscene-fest junk.
The Last of Us – Callisto DLC
wow this is a mess. 50% gpu utilization
Welp, since it’s DX 12 DXVK-async ain’t gonna fix it. Denuvo and Unreal 4 are just a bad, bad combination. It was actually hilarious to listen to people on Twitch who thought large open world MMO’s would work well with Unreal 4. Until Unreal gets the asset streaming going with Direct Storage and Unreal 5 their engine is pretty much trash in open world or ambitious games. Gigantic stutters unless you have a cutscene every corridor.
If Dev’s know about this Unreal Engine issue why do they still continue to use that version of Unreal engine? Makes zero sense. Also only AMD has drivers for this game since Nvidia currently does not.
Also Adding Denuvo a week before release was biggest mistakes, this is reason why Final Fantasy 7 remake never had denuvo when they release on epic game store because that game was already broken adding DRM made the game even more broken just like this game also Final fantasy 7 remake is also made by Same game engine unreal Engine 4
No DLSS support either. Another title ruined by AMD sponsorship.
I do hope they add DLSS eventually
Or at the very least, XeSS
Hmmm, if nVidia didn’t make everything proprietary, there’d be no need for AMD funded open source alternatives. As it is, it’s open source and so easily adapted to nVidia.
Ummm YEAH… Your CPU and GPU is unoptimized because YOU PAIRED A 4090 WITH A 9900k…at 3.8 GHZ?!
– A 3900k at 5Ghz would not be able to feed a 3090, let alone a 4090 and at 3.8Ghz.
– my 9700k at 5Ghz made games STUTTERY AF with a 3090. Upgraded to 12700kf at 5Ghz, and forgetting FPS gain, games ARE BUTTER. Cyberpunk runs WAYYY better at 50fps than it did at 90fps before
– I’m sure the game is unoptimized, but guys…give yourselves a chance lol
– Also, RT heavy games will strain a GPU without 99% Utilization, because RT Cores may be firing, but Tensor cores might be laxed
– Also add RAM, 16GB SHOULD be enough, but new titles, bugs, etc, can cause high usage, and if a game fails to dump data, it will just crash, instead of piling on and fixing down the line
– some games, and ESPECIALLY games + Screen record/etc, will use over 16gb, some will just stutter at 16gb
But yeah. A 12700kf for cheap, or Ryzen 5800x3d if you can, for GREAT gaming performance with its big old L2 Cache, makes up for bugs and stutters too
Dude, the 3.8GHz is his RAM speed, not his CPU. Look at the screenshot, his CPU is running at a 4.7GHz on all 8 cores.
The RAM issue is more about Windows. It can’t release standby memory on 10 and 11 since Creator’s update. The makers of DDU solved this with ISLC. Set it to like 1000 poll rate 1024 on first memory setting, half your ram on the next setting. No more stutter in long gaming sessions in games like Spiderman.
CPU? No CPU is gonna fix a broken Unreal 4 game. The engine is just FUBAR and games like Jedi Fallen Order are never gonna be fixed. Newer games that are more ambitious with Denuvo on top or RT? Good luck…
But yeah 5600x on a dirt cheap mb for budget, 5800x3D on an AM4 upgrade and the new Intel 13400 on new builds is what I would target at price points outside a 4090. 4090’s are just gimped without the fastest Intel or AMD chip out atm, and to be honest they might still be gimped until 7xxx 3D.
If you really, really love emulation then just go with new AMD. I think only the older Intel 12xxx has AVX 512 and it can make a huge difference on PS3 emulation.
Depending on the settings and gaming scenario your PC will be either GPU or CPU limited, so it’s impossible to match GPU and CPU power perfectly. Of course rich gamers can buy the latest CPUs in order to minimalize CPU bottlenecks, but not many gamers are willing to go this route because of costs. Also it’s not like the latest i7/i9 CPU will be 2x faster than previous generation, so you pay a premium only to get minimal fps boost in CPU limited situations.
If someone is willing to lower some CPU intensive settings, and increase GPU intensive settings (play at higher resolutions, or better AA for example) then you can always shift bottleneck into GPU in order to make full use from it’s power.
Also keep in mind not everyone need 120fps or more just to enjoy playing games. When I was young people were playing games at 30fps (3dfx era) and still be happy. For me anything around at 45fps is playable (on my 170Hz VRR with low framerate compensation even 45fps looks smooth and sharp in motion), so I rather play at lower fps than replace whole platform.
I’m surprised you had problems in cyberpunk on 9700K. This is still very capable CPU (especially at 5GHz) and even YT gameplays shows 9700K can push 95fps average in this demanding game (frametime looked awesome as well), so it’s hard to believe your PC was CPU bottenecked in this game.
I called it…..now lets wait till devs say “THE PR LINE” clown industry
Enjoy you’re Stuttery Pre-ordering Fest, you dumb Muthafuqas. Why do people rush to play these games on day one vs 1-2 years later. Where it’ll clearly be an inferior experience.
Enjoy you’re Denuvo infused Stuttery Pre-ordering Fest, you dumb Muthafuqas. Why do people rush to play these games on day one vs 1-2 years later. Where it’ll clearly be an inferior experience. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/56cd6bad1fe8958a8c97639280ee556c5df9c6d91a2502988fdb8239e9a42444.png
trained impatience and soy diet
So in other words F.O.M.O with a hint of H0m0?.. haha, ??? you said it man. Good observation though.
By the way, your name is brilliant. Oh how people forget about NVIDIA’S lying tactics.
His profile name is all about the infamous GTX 970 3.5GB + 0.5 GB config!!!!
I had a friend that had the gpu she upgraded in 2020 to 5700 XT. Though 970 was actually a very good GPU, so imagine if it wasn’t gimped. Well story is this friend loves gaming not than any other, she’s always been a hardcore PC gamer. Saved her pennies working at Walmart, I built her a PC & she was finally able to afford a GPU and then to find out she got gypd. Those are the stories of proof that fuels the hate of a company like Nvidia. Yes, it’s anecdotal but I think those should count for something. Thinking you are getting one thing that turns into a Next a thing. Remember how deep this went, Nvidia lied down to the bios reading on the chip. They broke so many laws with the 970.
Nvidia was a tad bit smarter with their explanation btw. I couldn’t even believe what I was reading. Why would you lineup your memory into 3.5 +0.5 GB combination to “optimally” configure its functioning? I mean how do I know that low priority 512MB memory section isn’t used by the background process and whenever a game starts calling the address onto that, it says “ah $hit. now how can I give it to the game?” If I am correct, Nvidia never answered to this $hit properly yet I am still using its products. Irony my life!!!
what he said it says “Content unavailable”
ah, thanks i now i can see why the stuttering on a betteridontsaywhich gpu
if you pull denuvo who would buy the console versions?
I’m starting to believe this could be true, because so many PC gamers have been saying, “I’m buying the PS 5 version then”. Had a busy that bought Elden Ring on PC, unplayable for him. Then he went and bought the PS4 version and then talk how much happier he is. ?? What is wrong with this picture ??? this is why we can’t have nice things. The man double dipped.
I think we will be needing even PS5 emulators these days because of the amount of incompetence & diaper driven freestyle coding from devs. I think emulation would become a Day-1 treat for those pre-ordering insomniacs.
This. But we can’t know for sure if Striking Distance devs are competent enough to have this mess sorted in 2 years.
so far they are not competent in making a good game they are competent in making the game like a b movie.
The game sucks at a base level. Patches can’t fix a bad game. There not gonna remake it from the ground up.
You know what would be funny? If they remove Denuvo and everything is fixed. People would still deny this down the line. The “You have no proof”… People.
Well the good news then. As in, I hope people learn their lesson but we know that’s not gonna happen. We should’ve known, all grow and limited gameplay. Someone was hiding something.
Poor Inc*ls, they’ll have to go back to their full body cushions for comfort.
That is pretty much it, but the issue is that they add the protection too late and don’t optimise it.
this keeps happening and the response is “well you see they did not implement it properly” sure and sometimes they do and there is still stuttering like maneater.
Good point, but lets not forget the pretty much 2 hour demo like I call it..
I mean steam refund.
Like many other games this past 2 years. Stutter has become a plague.
But ..but…. denuvo pervent piracy..
in your case you are being held back by the cpu bottleneck….i have to disable the rt also, with same gpu as yours, but its underwhelming, not even a 4090 can handle rt? moreover the general performance compared to 3090 seems to be percentually inferior, im not conviced with this gpu, or they are not doing things right, the darktide game i cannot set all to ultra, no rt reflections…or low i dont remember, ok its just being obsessed with perfect graphics when you wont notice any difference, but again for what the 4090 costs its disappointing, i know it depends on the new platform on the drivers on the way the unreal engine is built, wsyiwg, they do not code anymore…
why is your 9900k at 3.8??? even out of the box it runs all cores at 4.7. and even then a 9900k would be a pretty big bottleneck for a 4090.
anyway the game is a more stuttery poor performing pos then I ever would have imagined coming from these guys. my god does anyone even bother to play test a damn game for 5 min before they release it on to paying customers?
The DDR4 RAM is running at 3800Mhz, not the i9 9900K 😛
9900K won’t bottleneck any GPU in 4K, that cpu is just that good despite the years on its neck and you dont need to swap cpus every 2 year anymore
So Another dev following the Bethesda school of game releasing. Launch a beta version and get all the paying customer/players to do the work your beta team should have done. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice means I never a buy at launch.
I had a bad feeling when I kept seeing gameplay footage before the release with noticeable stuttering. Such a shame they didnt fix it in time for the final release, and from what I hear the game aint so great either. Shame.
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/dxvk-2-0-released-aiming-to-minimize-shader-compilation-stutters-in-dx11-dx12-games/
Does this work for this game?
Where are the Nvidia dotards who say: you just add RT in and it just works! No more wasting countless hours adjusting every gfx aspect as with tradition raster. ?
Bunch of clowns trying to sound intelligent on Nvidia subreddit.
Played a bit at a mates house on PS5 and it looked and ran pretty great in performance mode, which makes this even weirder. Obviously the game can run well on much weaker hardware. So they just totally shafted PC, which is just inexcusable, they’ll not be getting my money anyway.
“For our initial tests, we used an Intel i9 9900K with 16GB of DDR4 at 3800Mhz and NVIDIA’s RTX 4090”
So you bought 4090, but skimped on additional 16gb ram as 32 is a MINIMUM for many games to be running smoothly? Come on now 🙂
The game is just Dead Space but made only with the worst parts of it.
At this point when i see the Unreal Engine 4 logo, the game automatically goes to my “Buy for 80-90% off” category.
Seriously f@ck epic games and that crapy engine.
For the last 5 years every UE4 game was broken on PC.
Thank you Denuvo
DX11 is fine.
HDR is butt too 🙁 (which for some reason only works on dx12.. but i’d suggest turning it off.)
Don’t blame the shader compilation stutters on Denuvo. It’s a well known issue from Unreal Engine 4.
2 things catch my attention. First, there are even small developers who have successfuly addressed these things by pre-compiling shaders. Second, how do these HORRIBLE stutters (just saw the Digital Foundry review) get past the QA team? It’s truly mind boggling and we as the PC crowd should cry out loud for this to not happen any more. We need media coverage and to NOT buy games with shader compilation struggle
#StutterStruggle
Not only Devuvo. And these fu*krs cant optimize for sh*t!
But hey as Sony POS put their money in our pocket, they can rape us to hell and back!
F*ck that POS Glen och the rest of the fa**ots!
I expected it to be bad, not this bad. On top the game itself is not as good as Deadspace judging it by the first 3 hours is more walking simulator than “horror”.
At least is not a DX12 only game, as it is common switching to DX11 worksaround some of the issues.
Certain developers in 2022: Enjoy beta testing our games!
Other developers in 2022: We should put more time into the game before it comes out, but it doesn’t matter!
A number of customers: I can’t wait to buy this game!
Same customers : They screwed us again!
The cycle will continue on PC unfortunately!
Burn the Proto-coal, pay the toll
If you’re still buying games on day one, then you’re both a f**kin moron, and part of the cause of the downfall of quality in gaming as a whole.
You’re getting exactly what you deserve.
Huh, I wonder where all those option 2 votes came from during the moderation survey. XD
Jews
Got it free with my 6800xt and shader compilation is the least of it’s issues. Bad game, bad story, bad characters, constantly and I mean constantly reused assets, bad lighting EXCEPT in the few areas where it’s obvious they want you to use photo mode and shill this game, etc. Bad combat, bad, tutorials that explain things wrong, etc, etc, etc…. I think this game was made by a Chinese company or something or did 90%of the work. Some tutorials and then a second tutorial or a handheld gameplay demonstration contradicts what they just told you and either or or both segments oare written like it was by someone who is esl or even a third language speaker. Games just bad. Looks great sometimes but it’s bad. Like really bad. They were showing off on Twitter they had a NYC billboard with 360 effects or something buts it’s like okay cool. I see you spent the last 3 months shilling this and it will sell a million copies but if you took that 10 million of advertising you could have made a good game instead of a decent dead space ripoff game.
I got banned on steam forums for a similar post I made above by the way. There banning everyone there
No FOV slider btw. Also some graphics options are low or high. No medium or max or anything inbetween Lighting specifically. So it’s either PS4 or PS5 light mode.
Even RPCS3 runs The Last of Us and Uncharted 3 way too better than this $hit. and guess what. RPCS3 ALWAYS do hard shader compilations unlike this garbage piece of trash.
These vaccine side-effects are getting ridiculous.
