Mundfish has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming Unreal Engine 4-powered first-person shooter, Atomic Heart. These latest screenshots showcase what PC gamers can expect, visually, from this game.
Atomic Heart is an action-packed first-person shooter set in the alternative, retro-future version of the 1950s USSR. The game will allow players to level up their weapons and abilities, and there will be both crafting and looting systems. Moreover, it will have some puzzles that players will have to solve.
As we’ve already reported, the game will support real-time ray tracing effects. Furthermore, PC gamers can download an RTX tech demo for it.
Mundfish will release Atomic Heart on February 21st, 2023.
Enjoy!

Two words; “blur fest”…
this looks horrendous
Empty corridors with low details and bad textures. 15-years old games like Bioshock or Half Life 2 looks better
Dam the lighting in this game is impressive
it looks completely off
How do you mean?
Looks amazing
I’m honest, I wouldn’t have bet a penny that this project actually saw the light…ever since the first gameplay video I saw a few years ago, something made me understand that the game would never come out…It was very unpolished and generic, but…
Instead we all have seen a (slow) progression and clear graphical and gameplay improvements with each new video that MundFish has released over time.
Now I have to say that I have a lot of hype for this game…the graphic effects are simply stunning, and it’s impressive to think that we’re dealing with a game born as an indie that for all intents and purposes looks like a triple A…the attention to details and the overall improvements that the game has had are evident for we all to see…also it’s one of the games that makes the most of ray tracing that I have seen so far.
Let’s just hope that the gameplay and story are of the same good quality…if so, in my opinion we will be facing a serious nominee for the game of the year award!
if this is moddable like bethesda games it would be huge

Being on the Unreal engine, we should expect texture streaming stuttering which has ruined so many Unreal engine games.
Looking forward to playing this…hope it delivers!

Looks like this game is hard for no reason, seen t5he boss fight.
Going to play it on easy, dont have time to get stuck on bosses for hours just to finish a game.
Your article gave me a lot of inspiration, I hope you can explain your point of view in more detail, because I have some doubts, thank you.
