Capcom has just released two brand new trailers for Resident Evil 4 Remake. The first one is a gameplay trailer, whereas the second one is a cinematic trailer. In total, we get more than seven minutes of gameplay and in-engine cinematic sequences, giving us an idea of how the game looks and plays. And yes, Leon’s classic kick move is in here.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be using the RE Engine and is a re-imagination of the 2005 game. The game’s storyline will be the same as the one from the original title. Thus, players can expect to be fighting the Ganados.
Capcom plans to release Resident Evil 4 Remake on March 24th, 2023.

Can’t believe that they killed the poor dog. For me it was a good introduction to Leon’s character and charm in the original. ?A?n?d? ?t?h?e?n? ?t?h?a?t? ?r?a?c?i?f?i?e?d? ?h?u?n?n?i?g?a?n?.?.?.? ?J?e?s?u?s? ?c?h?r?i?s?t?!? ? The gameplay also felt lacking that “punch”of the original and enemies voice acting is a bit okayish. Didn’t expected that. Good grace we have RE4HD Texture pack.
Edit: OK I sincerely apologise what I said for hunnigan. It seems my nostalgia was a bit too much. She always looked the same way as in Re4 and Re6 as in Re4 remake. That said she looks quite similar. I’m relieved now. Its respecting everything of the original. THANK YOU CAPGODS.
It looks like tomb raider 2013 dark with bones everywhere, i agree the voice acting is awful, ashley doesnt wear a skirt, they trying to make it serious instead of campy, wtf is the point of this get the original with graphics mods. Why does every game need to be super dark damn it?
Yeah, They’re going for a much horror focused game. That’s ok but relying too much on it since the fact that original balanced fun with survival horror so well, would probably take away the whole flavour of the original. No doubt it’ll be a good horror game though. Let’s hope it will surprise everyone.
And Ashley do wear skirt just also with leggings/stockings. She’s the best. Leon is killing handsome and Ada is red hot. Rest will be fixed by good modders. Mmmm. I’m excited.
The guy is dodging a chainsaw with a knife, i don’t see how it’s viewed as serious
I dunno, seems way more grounded than the Matrix influences the original used to have.
My biggest gripe is the art design, due to the fact that they’re using reused assets everything looks super clean while the original had dirt and grime all over the place to convey how the village was unkempt and pretty much rotting.
I like it so far but i need to know if they’re gonna cut content like the last time in RE3.

I was really annoyed when I heard they were doing this with 4 because I was really dissapointed with the RE3 remake but this actually looks really good. Now I really need them to remake code veronica and not f*k it up or cut sh*t like they did with RE3. No one cares about multiplayer in a resident evil game capcom. Focus on the game and don’t cut content to focus on multiplayer BS.
The team which is working on RE4 is the same team which worked on RE2 which was way closer to the original. The RE3 team was different hence why it was… the way it was.
