Ubisoft has released the first official cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Moreover, the French company revealed the game’s first official details (which were leaked a while back).
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players will experience the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad.
As the official description reads.
“After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization – The Hidden Ones. As he learns their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, he will hone his unique abilities, discover his true nature, and come to understand a new Creed – one that will change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.”
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will focus on stealth and will have dense environments. Here are the game’s key features.
- Experience a modern take on the iconic features and gameplay that have defined a franchise for 15 years.
- Parkour seamlessly through the city and stealthily take down targets with more visceral assassinations than ever before.

They have at least released bullshots, so we have at least some idea how the game will look.
If you hate them it means you care. Don’t give them that satisfaction. Eventually people will wake up and they’ll sell less and less copies each year till they kill the franchise.
That’s not gonna happen, didn’t you see that they anncouned so many ‘Assassins Creed’ games? even they already announced next flagship title (after AC:Mirage), so eventually people will buy it and make them more profitiable than ever.

If this ends up playing NOT like AC 1 & 2 it will be the greatest bait and switch Ubisoft ever pulled, and that’s saying something. The entire thing is like a retelling of AC1, down the mission structure (taking out the bodyguards, then eliminating a non-fighting target that has a name and face and probably a story to tell).
