Three new trailers for the Resident Evil Fan Remake in Unity Engine

Back in January 2022, we informed you about a third-person fan remake of the first Resident Evil game in Unity Engine. And today, we are happy to present you three new trailers from it.

In Resident Evil 1 Remake, players will manage their inventory, find defense knives to quickly run away from a zombie about to bite them. Additionally, they’ll be able to use their flashlight whenever they want. The game will also have a dodge mechanic, and a good amount of weapons to choose from.

From what we can see, players will also be able to explore the RPD and the streets of Raccoon City right before visiting the Spencer Mansion.

Now what’s really cool here is that the team is also working on a faithful version of this project. Titled Resident Evil 96 Edition, this version will feature graphics similar to those of the 32-bit version. In other words, you can expect to see polygonal characters, less advanced lighting effects, and simpler environments.

Briins Croft and his team aim to release the first version of this project in 2022. And, since this is a fan project, the team will release it for free.

Enjoy the trailers and stay tuned for more!

  1. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What in the goddamn tarnation is this?!
A fvcking lame voice over, with some dude trying to make a girly voice and a Morgan Freeman wannabe playing Wesker. LOL
Shlt is hilarious! Looks like some kids trying to make memes for Youtube.

  2. game looks good. Voice acting is sooo bad. they should just leave out the voices or allow people to drag and drop the original sound files into the game. everyone sounds wrong and sounds monotone. You can tell they are all reading their lines and have zero emotion. “oh. no. what. did. I . Do. now. .” They would be better off having Siri read the lines.

  3. All I see is hate hate hate hate hate, All I feel is Love. Great project, perfect in it’s imperfections. If you can do it better, do it yourself! The more fan remakes, the better, each with its own individual touch. Great stuff!
