CI Games has just announced that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be called The Lords of the Fallen. Moreover, the publisher revealed the game’s announcement trailer, as well as its first details.
The Lords of the Fallen takes place more than a thousand years after the events of the first game. Players will embark on an all-new adventure in a vast, interconnected world, more than five times larger than the original game.
The Lords of the Fallen will have lots of NPC quests, compelling characters, and rich narrative where players will need to create their own hero before tackling the single-player campaign. Players will also have the option to invite a second player to join their adventure in an uninterrupted online co-op.
Naturally, the game will also let you fully customize your character’s appearance from a wide array of visual options. You will also be able to develop your own playstyle by upgrading stats, weapons, armour and spells before. Furthermore, the game will offer nine classes to choose from.

they basically want to be remembered by this one and not the last. When producers do this they want a clean sleigh.
But boy oh boy did the trailer talk us to death.
After watching that I couldn’t even tell you what GENRE of game it is. Fail.
Given that the first game is a Souls clone (one of the first at that), this will prob be one too.

The Fledge Engine was pretty cool for it’s time, it looked a lot like UE4 just like the game looked a lot like a souls game, which it was. Curious to see what they do with this one given the whole title confusion.

Remember when they made trailers with music that actually fit the game? Not even Pepperidge Farm remembers! I love Glenn, but feels wrong.
Finally, a dev with the balls to make a soulslike with invasions. It’s going to be hilarious figuring out how jank and busted that turns out. I didn’t mind the first game, played through it a couple of times at least. The surge 2 was a massive step up from the first one, so here’s hoping this turns out the same way. The art style looks a lot better than the first one. Saying that it’s a cinematic so who knows, but I’m thinking this might be a banger.
