Deep Silver and Volition have revealed the official PC system requirements for Saints Row. According to the PC specs, the game will be using both DX11 and DX12, and will require at least 50GB of free hard-disk space.
Contrary to other developers, Volition has listed the graphics settings, resolution and framerate that these PC specs target. Unfortunately, though, the team did not reveal any requirements for its Ray Tracing effects.
From what we know so far, the PC version of Saints Row will feature ray-traced Ambient Occlusion. Theoretically speaking, the game should also support NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR 2.0.
Saints Row will release on August 23rd!

Yep, or even FSR. That was my immediate thought when I saw the 12GB requirement for 4K/60

possibly the developers have provided the graphic team with the raw data from a technical sheet which the graphics have then copy pasted on the final image without editing it first
therefore its unintentional but idiocity is a sin…look at the ultra requirements…3080 ti….i believe its because the 3080 12 is out of production currently, and you better have 12 gb of vram available, not because you need the power of a 3080 ti…which is one short step below the 3090
what i mean is i do believe 12 gb will be necessary for the 4k even with upscaling, i do not agree that a 3090 will be necessary though

its ok bloated requirements has always been a feature in windows gaming…what is out of the equation is the ballistic price of current and upcoming hardware
the asus z790 series will cost 800 usd and not the most expensive one….the new intel cpu or amd same as above…not the mention the new gpus that will be out of reach for many enthusiasts but with average income…also because contrary to the past it is not common to access payment by instalments for those items, at least in europe…the procedure if available is a long list of papers to fill giving out too many information and unclear contract requirements…basically you dont know how much you would end up paying…
