miHoYo has announced that Update 2.6 for Genshin Impact will release on March 30th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has also released a new trailer that you can find below.
Patch 2.6 will add The Chasm area with massive aboveground and underground space. Additionally, it will bring a New Archon Quest about the Traveler Twins and Khaenri’ah. Not only that, but players can expect Kamisato Ayato; the new five-star Hydro swordsman.
Lastly, there will be a seasonal celebration event in Inazuma and a chance to recruit Xingqiu for free, as well as reruns of Venti and Kamisato Ayaka.

Nice for you to cover this game. I’m addicted to it, been playing for 6 months and I really think this is the best F2P game. Spent a lot of money in it just because of the quality of it all (main quests, gameplay, characters with soul and world design alone, and yeah the music is awesome as well).
Genshin Impact (600 hours played at the moment) and Warframe (3500 hours played but stopped a while ago) are the only F2P games in where I put “some” money.
They are always delivering quality content to keep you busy like events and such for the whole month, but since they are adding the main story line every couple of months more or less, you always expect a new huge map to be added alone with more lore, characters and story (tons of hours of exploration).
This game should be the example to follow as a “game as a service” in my opinion. It is free and you can go through it by not spending anything, but as in my case since the very first week I was quite impressed by it so decided to spend.
Its also popular in my country, mostly because its free to play … Probably a lot of player here didnt pay a dime and choose to grind on their smartphone.
