SEGA and Relic have released a new developer diary for Company of Heroes 3 which packs some never-before-seen pre-alpha gameplay footage.
In this video, Relic’s developers talk about new Mission Types, Improved AI, customizing your forces, and the overall approach to Mission Design.
Company of Heroes 3 aims to bring the series’ intimate boots-on-the-ground storytelling to a brand-new theatre of war, unlocking authentic new tactics, factions, and a wealth of untold stories from World War II.
The game will be using the Essence Engine 5, the latest evolution of Relic’s proprietary real-time strategy technology. Moreover, Relic promises to implement some authentic new features.
Company of Heroes 3 is coming to PC in 2022.
Enjoy!

Looks and plays so much better than the disappointment that was CoH2
Population limit still not being tied to capture points still irks me though, it was the whole reason why comebacks in CoH1 were so special and much harder to pull off.
It’s half the reason why the vehicle restoration unit like the Bergetiger was created in the first place.
I played the Beta, it currently isn’t anywhere near as good as COH2
There is no beta, there was a pre alpha
And it’s much better than CoH2
