Some new rumors surfaced earlier this month, suggesting that FromSoftware is working on a new Armored Core game. And, from the looks of it, the first screenshots for this AC game have been leaked online.
From what we’ve heard, this new Armored Core game will be a third-person shooter mecha action title. The game promises to let players roam an overwhelmingly scaled map. Players will face strong enemies and fierce battles both long and short range using guns and blades.
This Armored Core game is also rumored to offer extensive customization. Players will be able to reconfigure body parts and weapons in order to upgrade their mech.
Lastly, the game promises to have a dynamic, three-dimensional movement system.
Now as with all rumors and leaks, we suggest taking everything you just read with a grain of salt.
Enjoy the following screenshots (which appear to be from an alpha or beta build) and stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. “its been so long…titanic jpg”
That being said i hope its like for answer, yes thats the name of the game…because V, yes thats the name of the game…was too slow with an awful large hud and too multiplayer focused.
I cant tell if the mechs are like 4 or 5 by the look of it.
The AC’s look straight out of Armored Core 3, so much so I can just about identify specific parts almost.
AC3’s era was the series at it’s absolute peak, despite the occasional lackluster release like Ninebreaker. If they’re bringing the series back to those roots while adding new design evolutions like a semi open world, a lot of old-school fans might be happy. And a lot of new fans might have something both new and old and altogether special to discover.
Assuming it is good. God, after all this time please be good.
honestly i couldnt bother with it after 2, i didnt like 2’s setting, music, mech and weapon designs. So i got back in with ac4. Is 3 different than 2 and if yes how?
AC3 is a bit of a reboot and return to AC1. Humanity is living in a massive technologically advanced shelter called “Layered”. By technologically advanced I mean that Layered has actual biomes as opposed to the almost Fallout style facility from AC1.
All of humanity’s needs are catered to and their lives dictated by an AI called The Controller. Even the Corporations and the Raven mercenaries and their various conflicts are carefully calculated to maintain order and balance within Layered. But recently the Controller’s actions have begun to make less and less sense, a resistance force emerges from the shadows, and the
Corporations are split on whether to continue to obey the Controller or rebel. And in the middle of this is one Raven by whom the path of Humanity will be decided, for better or worse.
The games from Silent Line to Last Raven continue 3’s story and setting, exploring the long-term consequences of the events that started within Layered.
Whenever someone asks where they should start the series, I always point them to 3 for it’s balance and design. Silent Line is often remembered alongside Master of Arena as the largely undisputed GOATs of the series.
