Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal released two new videos for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. According to the teams, each video features insights directly from Senior Gameplay Director Patrick Fortier. In the first video, Fortier hones in on how the Guardians synergize in battle. In the second, he focuses on how players can lead the Guardians outside of it.
Just as they all have their own distinct personalities out of combat, each Guardian similarly boasts their own unique specialties and abilities on the battlefield, with their strategic management proving paramount for players hoping to take down the vast array of different enemies they’ll encounter while adventuring through the cosmos. Rocket serves as the group’s multi-target explosive specialist and Groot as its protector and healer. Drax is its staggering wrecking ball and Gamora as its high-damage single-target assassin. Lastly, Star-Lord is, of course, its versatile “so-called” leader.
In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players won’t only have the opportunity to lead the Guardians in combat. As seen in the second video, they’ll also be responsible for steering their teammates in the right direction while journeying to and from a plethora of iconic Marvel locations on the Milano. Making choices (and dealing with the consequences) is a core part of being a leader, and it’s similarly at the core of the Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy experience, from deciding how to approach a conversation, to allocating ability points, to choosing between comic-accurate and original outfits, and beyond.
The game releases on October 26th will be using Denuvo. Moreover, it will support both Ray Tracing and DLSS.
Enjoy!

hmm, I’m wary about this game. Eidos Montréal proved they can make great games (DX:HR and DX:MD) but the latest Tomb Raider was not very good and then they served as the B team on Avengers (and we all know what garbage that turned out to be).
So yeah, color me skeptical at best
Yeah, I wish the game go more like DX then Tomb Raider, and its more appropriate role for Joanna Dark
They put Deus Ex on hold for this garbage, I’m so pissed

imagine if they made some space action adventure without the looter shooter rpg elements that you have to click left mouse until the health bar disappears. Modern game design is cancer. Its like its capable of ruining any game when its principles are applied to it.
RPG elements are making me quit gaming for good. I seriously barely play any games these days.
Game made for kids with 5 second attention span. Never forget that Deus Ex was put on ice so that this garbage could be developed and pushed on the market.
I’m happy to see I’m not the only person pissed off about that!!!
I too am pissed off at this. But in all seriousness, this is for the best. Just thinking of a deus Ex made by these new clowns and with the SJW feminazi BS that is plaguing the gaming industry…. its probably best that Deus Ex stay on ice for now.
Maybe you’re right. I loved Mankind Divided though.
Earning ability points is not really unique. It is in every game in some form nowadays.
Disney needs to burn in hell
Who tf plays this?
