Yesterday, SEGA revealed an in-engine cinematic trailer for Total War: WARHAMMER III. And after just a few hours, the publisher and Creative Assembly revealed the first gameplay footage for this upcoming strategy game.
In Total War: WARHAMMER III each choice you make will shape the reality-shattering conflict to come; from the mysterious Lands of the East to the daemon-infested Realms of Chaos. Players will experience strategy gaming on a scale yet unseen in this epic culmination to the Total War: WARHAMMER trilogy.
Featuring iconic new races from the World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, players will wage war with the most diverse array of legendary heroes, gargantuan monsters, flying creatures and magical powers that the series has ever seen.
Players will also embark on a new grand campaign. Moreover, each race promises to offer a unique journey through the nightmarish Chaos Realm, culminating in an endgame that will determine the fate of the world.
Enjoy!

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
Wish I could get into these games. Tried Warhammer II out a few times and really didn’t understand the excitement for it. Just direct big swarms of soldiers to other soldiers and they basically just fight each other automatically. I don’t get it.

Now try winning with those “automatic swarms”. That’s the point.
Doesn’t sound like fun
these online nerd keep crying about balance, of course we can’t have fun games.
Could you please remove your avatar. It is very offensive.
They don’t fight automatically. It’s not like Starcraft or Warcraft. You have to issue orders, use formations, use the terrain, forest, walls and the most powerfull thing, magic. It is way more complex than the historical Total War titles. I too thought TW Warhammer was meh, but i bought it in 2017 played 10 hours ditch it for a few months and then reinstalled it. I got hooked on it, then Warhammer II came out and i have over 2000 hours sunk in them.
I should give it another chance. I do want to get into it.
If I may, I suggest starting with a faction that is more to your liking aesthetically or lorewise, and one that has simpler mechanics. For example, I don’t recommend starting with Empire, Skaven, Beastmen, Norsca or Chaos. Playing with Vampire counts and Dwarfs might also condition you to a specific playstyle not suited for any other faction. Other than that, you would be fine choosing whichever faction your heart desires. You can also watch this video from Zerkovich as a guide (Though it is geared more towards multiplayer and thus I don’t agree with everything he says):

Also there is no shame in starting with easy difficulty. Before TWWH I had never played a totalwar game, so I started on easy, before getting hooked and playing over 3700 hours in the game. Choose the difficulty that you enjoy, not what others might say is good.
It’s basically a positioning game, formations matter, terrain matters, flanking matters, at most you have 40 things to command and that’s the biggest battle in the campaign with two fully stacked out armies.
This isn’t SC2 where you have to individually teleport one of 50 void stalkers back in 0.3 seconds or you lose, this is more “I need to move these guys so when their cavalry gets here my archers don’t get pulled into melee.”
All good and dandy, but thing is, will they have a detailed tutorial to learn how to play the freaking game?
how the hell do you need a tutorial for a game like this? it’s a dumbed down trash.
You should check out legendoftotalwar channel on YT. That is the best way to learn to play singleplayer in TW Warhammer.
