505 Games has announced the agreement with One More Level for the development and the publication of the second version of the Ghostrunner. Additionally, Digital Bros Group will double its investment for the creation of Ghostrunner 2, contributing with an initial budget of 5 million euros.
For the production of Ghostrunner 2, 505 Games renews its collaboration with the Polish studio One More Level, the developers of the first version of the video game.
Ghostrunner is a first-person cyberpunk action video game set in a grim, dystopian future. Since its launch in October 2020, the game has sold over 600,000 copies.
Raffaele Galante, co-CEO of Digital Bros with his brother Rami, said:
“We are particularly excited about the future release of Ghostrunner 2. Together with One More Level, we have created a thrilling and engaging video game.”
“This new collaboration deepens 505 Games presence within the Polish videogame market, a reality now among the firsts in Europe for the development of video games, new projects and talents. We will continue to pay close attention to the Polish market to constantly improve and expand our product portfolio with video games capable of satisfying the tastes of the entire gaming community.”
Unfortunately, 505 Games has not revealed any additional details, a release date or screenshots.

Hope they improve the movement to feel more fluid. It was a cool game, it just felt like there was always this input delay.
The game felt great on the 3080.
Not my type of game but I’m happy for their success. I just don’t like rushing through anything, I like to sip my games like fine wine.
big brain post
Ghost Runner was sick af. One of my favorite games of last year. The gameplay was super intense. I just wish there was more of it.
What’s with the weird wording, John? Ghostrunner was the original, Ghostrunner 2 will be a sequel or a second part in a series of games. Version in software applies to updated or patched code.
Yeah, this article has “stroke” written all over it. I mean, “Second version of the Ghostrunner”???
Nice, hopefully they can deliver
The first one was extremely enjoyable
Pls. save the game progress more often… It’s annoying-frustrating even with the one-shot-kills.
Nice, best cyberpunk game of the year.
Kinda repetetive but since is fairly short it wasnt an issue to me, hopefully the sequel expands on this and the setting/world. I recommend the OST too, nice tracks in this thing.
Shame they still haven’t fixed their broken DLSS support on the original game.
