SEGA today announced Total War: WARHAMMER III, the third release in an ongoing partnership between Creative Assembly and Games Workshop. In order to celebrate this announcement, SEGA released the game’s debut trailer that you can find below.
In Total War: WARHAMMER III each choice you make will shape the reality-shattering conflict to come; from the mysterious Lands of the East to the daemon-infested Realms of Chaos. Players will experience strategy gaming on a scale yet unseen in this epic culmination to the Total War: WARHAMMER trilogy.
Featuring iconic new races from the World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, players will wage war with the most diverse array of legendary heroes, gargantuan monsters, flying creatures and magical powers that the series has ever seen.
Game Director, Ian Roxburgh, said:
“Our vision, from the start, was to create a series that felt like an incredible journey through this world we all loved. The enormous support of our players in ensuring the success of the first two instalments has pushed our ambition to new heights, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
Jon Gillard, Global Head of Licensing, added:
“The craft, dedication and authenticity to the Warhammer world that Creative Assembly has poured into the celebrated Total War Warhammer franchise over the years has been a delight to us at Games Workshop and fans worldwide. Creating and developing the armies of Cathay and Kislev for this project has been a lot of fun for our designers and we’re looking forward to seeing them take to the field in this huge third game in the series.”
Players will embark on a new grand campaign, you will be tasked with saving or exploiting the power of a dying god. Moreover, each race will offer a unique journey through the nightmarish Chaos Realm, culminating in an endgame that will determine the fate of the world.
Enjoy!

Uh-oh! R**ard alert!
ah oh f4ggot alert. you total war shills are a bunch of low iq f4ggots who deeply enjoy taking big c*ck in the a*s. it’s true.
I’m really surprised to see Cathay as base game faction. So maybe Nippon will come too.
Overall, I’m really excited for this game. Kislev will probably be the first faction i’m going to play.
China is a huge market.
Other than these races’ inclusion being a logical given, is there any source to confirm their inclusion?
As far as I know we’ll have Kislev, Cathay and demons of chaos at launch, and another race as a pre-order incentive. Where is the source of confirmation for the existence of the rest?
Good More Bad optimizations Coming like 2
Played W2 on start as “Demo” and have it like for 2 years on steam (90 hours), at start it was defenitely not perfect in terms of how it runs but at some point thay made huge technical patch which made AI run its turns 5 and more times faster, which made really impressive and huge difference, from my perspective last 2/1.5 years it have good technical performance
I’m glad good videogames are still being made
Can’t wait to Doomstack 15 Great Unclean Ones
Wow that Power Rangers game looks promising!
Definitely my most anticipated game of the year. Hopefully they don’t botch the release or the game, which I think is unlikely. TWWH2 has a solid track record of improvements, hopefully this record transfers to the final game. 🙂
