Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Deep Dive trailer released, showcasing new gameplay footage

Ubisoft has released a Deep Dive trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, featuring some brand new gameplay footage from it. This trailer will give you a glimpse at the gameplay mechanics that Ubisoft has implemented in this new AC game.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you are Eivor; a fierce Viking warrior raised on tales of battle and glory. Players will explore a dynamic and beautiful open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages. Players will also raid their enemies, grow their settlement, and build their political power in their quest to earn their place among the gods in Valhalla.

The game promises to feature advanced RPG mechanics. These RPG mechanics will allow you to shape the growth of your character and influence the world around you. Ubisoft also claims that your choices will carve your own path to glory.

Additionally, players will be able to sail from the harsh and mysterious shores of Norway to the beautiful but forbidding kingdoms of England and beyond. They will also construct and upgrade buildings that allow for deep customization, including a barracks, blacksmith, tattoo parlor, and more.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla releases on November 10th.

Enjoy!

  1. no badass hype by looking at eivor face & his voice & his main outfit & look at edward kenway looks so badass his face, voice, his outfit his expression his style edward black flag is best of best after ezio & connor

    1. Everyone was mad that they changed the voice of Altair to get rid of the accent in revelations. Anyway aeivor or whatever his name is sounds weak and the female character is ugly and scared.

      1. I think this trailer shows much more polished visuals than in Odyssey and even in early footage of this game, as textures are looking a lot better across the board and especially the vegetation that was notably absent in Odyssey looks great.

That being said, Unity is still by far the best looking AC game I’ve ever played, and in fact, probably still the best looking game period in my opinion. They were SO ambitious with Unity and created the most truly next gen graphical changes and upgrades I’ve ever seen in a single iteration and it’s a shame they weren’t able to allow for time to fix it’s bugs. Why don’t they go back to that kind of baked in lighting though??? It looks absolutely astonishing. And the past three series of GPU’s can run Unity very decently. It still hiccups randomly and you get a stutter where CPU and GPU usage drop, but in general, the amazing graphics of Unity are easily runnable on modern hardware so I don’t know why they don’t go back in that direction. I still enjoy Unity every time I play it because the visuals just suck me in and I don’t want to leave, even though so much of the rest of the game is crap.

        1. what makes you think that usbisoft would make anything looks better if the *new consoles* are basically 2016/2017 wannabe pcs??? it gonna be the same crap over and over again

          1. the engine and the policies are to blame, we got Unity on current-gen consoles. that’s just a flimsy excuse

          2. 2016/2017 PC wannabe???…well i want to see a 500$ 2016/2017 build year running games in 2027.Is the developers fault not the consoles.Didn’t you saw that when ps4 was first on market the top GPU was 780ti…How many Gpu’s or Cpu’s were launched since than…and people said that a 550ti is better than a ps4 or xbox one at that time..
i want to see a 550ti or even a 780 ti run Cyberpunk 2077 like a ps4pro or xbox oneX…you are funny…by the time that ps5 or series X will end we will have 6080 series from Nvidia…so

        2. I still remember the reveal.
a caption that read “Next-gen begins here”

          how the mighty have fallen

P.S. Eivor’s running animation looks exactly like Connor’s from AC3.

      2. its not the casual part that i enjoyed, its that the story was good and it wasnt a freaking witcher 3/skyrim clone.

  2. Does anyonw still cares for this game? Looks old gen… I want next gen experiences, this and watch dogs are going to flop hard. More of the same re skinned. Just to look at it gives me nausea.

    1. most EA and Ubisoft titles releasing the first few years of the next generation are going to pay the price for these two companies’ decadence
after what they did to PoP and SC, it serves Ubisoft right in my opinion

  3. Good trailer, great narrator and editing
Too bad the game looks like trash
I don’t know what’s worse, the cookie cutter gameplay, the art design, the reused Dunia assets, the virtue signalling, pretending like pillagers are good people, the minimalist UI on par with mobile games or the complete disregard for historical authenticity.

    1. Dunia assets? This game is using the AnvilNext engine, not Dunia.

It’s definitely the same engine and shares some assets from Odyssey, but the visuals in this trailer make things look VERY polished, polish I wasn’t seeing in previous footage so it looks pretty decent graphically.

I’m sure the character will suck given the fact that you can change gender at anytime, which means they’re obviously incredibly boring and generic if their gender can be swapped without consequence, and no doubt they’ll portray their typical neo-Marxist ideology in much of the content, but I think the game world looks really nice and the combat looks revamped enough to really enjoy, even if the true AC series I loved died many games ago and is nowhere to be found in new games.

      1. i was watching some video on the first resident evil remake and the person who made it was whining about “gender biases”. Meaning that Jill can run to barry to save her and pukes after she kills that monster in the bathroom. LOL, that was the best part of resident evil 1 remake that the character campaigns were different, more different than re2 remake anyway. Wtf did he wanted them to do? Make it like this game that all the cutscenes and dialogues are the same its just the voice acting and the character model thats different?

      2. All Ubi engines look the same. Just look at the NPC’s on Far Cry, The Divition,For Honor,The Crew, AC, Watchdogs…aesthetically is all too similar.

          1. Yeah, im just saying that regardless of the engine, all their games follow the same aesthetic and visual design.

          1. I clearly wrote LOOK the same, specially when it comes to characters, lighting and visual effects. They all look from the same mold.

    2. i still laugh at odyssey, half the spartan navy is women.

      “wait spartan navy?”

      Exactly.

They even changes the pictures on a amphora so its more “gender inclusive”

Anyway i find it funny how this has a gender option, only two of them? Last time i checked with far cry new dawn you choose body type not gender. The only good thing in that trailer is the envrioments they showed in the end, i wish that was the whole game, there is a lack of good viking games, rune 1 mostly takes place underground and you fight monsters, rune 2, the less is said the better, that other game that payday devs were working on with the monster killing vikings is canceled. I guess ill try that x360 viking game it was ported to pc a few years ago.

  4. is there necessicity for more trailers? Youtube is already overflowing with youtubers playing the full game. Spoilers being throwing in the face hour by hour. Sad.
