Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster has been rated in Korea

The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated the Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster. This upcoming remaster will feature the first three games of the series, and will be called Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

This rating hints at a possible official reveal of this trilogy in the coming months. From what we know so far, Mass Effect Legendary Edition will release in early 2021. EA was planning to reveal this remastered trilogy in September 2020, however, its plans changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although we don’t really know much about this Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster, we can expect it to feature the base games alongside their DLCs. Additionally, EA will most likely implement higher resolution textures, and some QoL improvements. According to an earlier report, BioWare is also looking into improving both of the graphics and gameplay mechanics of the first Mass Effect game.

Lastly, PC gamers can already experience remastered versions of the first three Mass Effect games via these mods. Therefore, and if you are a die-hard Mass Effect fan, I strongly suggest downloading them.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. I don’t care for any “Remaster” anymore. Call me when it’s a Fuqin Remake. Name me a “Remaster” that was actually that. The only one I could possibly say that lived up to that that was “The Unchartered Trilogy”. Everything else just meant reshade. Sad, I’m the biggest Mass Effect Fan but I don’t see anything to get excited about. They’ve abused the Term Remaster so much. I don’t see how they’re gonna Remaster the first game, might as well remake the damn thing. That would be dope. Remake the trilogy then we can continue with Shepherd in ME 5 & pretend Andromeda never Fuqin existed. 800 years in the future my A$$.

    1. If i remember well ME1 suffered from terrible stutter, i hope they have fixed that in this remaster. One game who should get a remaster is also GTA IV.

Still unplayable shat even today, its funny tho, cos on xbox emulator, on Xbox series x, runs at perfect 60fps.

      1. Yeah but everyone still jump to tell you about “Rockstar The Great”, won’t they… What I sad state of affairs.

        1. yes R’ has dropped the ball on us PC gamers.

Sega is trying to seduce us, i see they put work in their games with patches and so on, lets see how that goes.

So far so good, i want more sega games on PC.

      2. The X360 version of the game under emulation has drastically lower settings compared to what the PC version can achieve, and the draw distance sliders are at about 22 (both go up to 100 on PC), with these settings you could reach a mostly or even completely stable 60+ fps with any modern quad core CPU, it’s certainly not unplayable. It doesn’t magically run at 60 fps on Series X.

    2. You are such a depressed person that literally nothing in this world can make you happy anymore , always crying & b*ching on nearly every article.

    3. Resident Evil 1 remake was pretty good. There’s a few out there, but by far they’re mostly just cash grabs.

      1. Yeah a remake and a Remaster are 2 different things. We don’t get remakes mostly we get remaster which are just utter rehashed cash grabs. So far we’ve only had a handful of remakes. If they remake ME 1, I would be forever grateful.

        1. Sounds like this one will be somewhere in the middle with updated gameplay so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. ME is one of those games that I still get nostalgic about despite never having played the franchise since ME3.

  2. i know i’m probably dreaming, but i could go for a UE4 remaster with updated higher poly models, lighting upgrades, HBAO support and controller support.
