The team behind the Fallout New Vegas remake in the Fallout 4 Engine, Fallout 4: New Vegas, has released two new screenshots. These screenshots are from the latest build and will give you an idea of the game’s graphics.
Fallout 4: New Vegas aims to recreate Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: New Vegas in Fallout 4’s Creation Engine. This mod will come with all of the original quests, story and content. Furthermore, it will have additional gameplay elements and systems from the new and improved engine.
Now while this fan remake looks better than the original version, you should temper your expectations. For the time being, the team is hard at work on implementing all of the gameplay features. It also won’t introduce new enthusiast graphical features, like Ray Tracing. So yeah, don’t expect this to look like a next-gen remake or remaster.
There is currently no ETA on when Fallout 4 New Vegas will come out. Still, and as we’ve already said, the team has a real passion for this project. Furthermore, Bethesda has not sent them a C&D letter. Alongside this Fallout New Vegas remake, there is also a Fallout 3 remake in Fallout 4. Thus, I’m almost certain that Bethesda will not take them down.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. So, turns out they are not using the original voice lines. And thus for me any interest on this is killed.
They can’t use original voice lines because not even Bethesda owns them. If they used those lines they’ll be sent a C&D from from whichever agency the voice actors belong to
Doesn’t matter, just saying I no longer hold any interest as I find the original voices essential for my enjoyment.
I agree. They might get repetitive sometimes when too many characters are voiced by the same VA.
However i have yet met fanmade mod where the voice acting has been atleast on acceptable level. Usually its just microphone crackling and reading from paper, not that i blame anyone since i could not do any better
Yeah, seems kind of pointless.
Although … maybe they find a way to make sure that you can use it, but need to have the original Fallout New Vegas installed in order for it to work. Didn’t Tale of Two Wastelands work in a similar fashion?
I’m sure down the line someone will find a way to mod in the voices for anyone that owns New Vegas, if not a tutorial on how to.
even if they finish this thing, it’s just going to feel like fallout 4 in a new map.
They’re working on recreating as many of the NV systems as they can. It’s not simply porting the map and characters into Fallout 4. The remakes of Morrowind and Oblivion into Skyrim are doing the same thing on their end
They are putting skills back in. All the leveling from NV are coming back and the factions too.
Pretty much it’s gonna be the exact same game we know and love but built on FO4 engine. It’s essentially a fan made Fallout New Vegas Remastered.
not interested, go away.
are you mentally well?
are you a f4ggot?
degen
excuse me?
I’ve been following the 4 four Bethesda remake mods.
But just out of curiosity, given the notoriety of Bethesda’s C&D, why hasn’t these remakes been given one yet? Is there a loophole or mutual benefit?
I don’t want these taken down but I gathered they’ll eventually hear something from Zenimax.
Because they don’t redistribute Bethesda assets.
Maybe this will be worth the time when it’s finished.
The original New Vegas is such a bugfest that I’ve never been able to play the game for longer than 30mins without a crash, with all the mods that address the crashing related issues.
Oh and last time I tried, I couldn’t load my starting saves “:D”
Really wish I could play the one game in the series that everyone say’s is the greatest.
Sure it can be buggy but not that bad
with a couple of thousand hours of play in FONV it can be that bad you just probably have had more luck then most
This seems like a lot of work to do for no pay and little recognition. Must be a labor of love for sure.
