Nintendo Switch Ryujinx Emulator can now run Yoshi’s Crafted World, Pokemon Sword & Astral Chain

John GodGames Emus has shared some new videos, showing the Nintendo Switch emulator, Ryujinx, running a couple of games. Thus, you can find watch below Yoshi’s Crafted World, Pokemon Sword, Astral Chain and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate running on the PC via this emulator.

Now as you will see, Yoshi’s Crafted World has major graphical glitches and the performance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is awful. Still, it’s pretty incredible witnessing these two games going in-game via the Nintendo Switch emulator.

On the other hand, Pokemon Sword appears to be in a more playable state. While there are a few graphical glitches, the game appears to be running smoothly. However, we don’t know whether the game is fully playable yet, from start to finish.

Lastly, Astral Chain appears to be running pretty well. Still, there are some annoying stutters (that will be hopefully fixed in a future version). Again, the fact that this Nintendo Switch emulator can run triple-A games is a big deal.

In case you’re wondering, John GodGames Emus used a custom version of Ryujinx that was based on its latest version. Nevertheless, you can go ahead and download the latest and most stable version of Ryujinx from here.

Have fun!

    1. It really needs it. I refused to play that game at 30 fps, even though I have an love a Switch. That gameplay need a decent framerate.

    2. 100% agree with you, it’s really cool that Daemon X Machina is on Steam.

I really wish Xenoblade Chronicles X would be on the PC officially but I know that will never happen(well other than the Emulator).

    3. nintendo is in console selling business and they care about hardware sales. Also they stated many times that fun>>>>gfx thats why they dont bother with strong hardware, instead they make good games unlike 99% AAA on PC that are just clones of each other and usually just some dumb FPS. Yes i too would love to get nintendo games on PC to play them in 4k and 60FPS but i do understand why it will never happen. Hating company for making money? I dont think that is healthy 😉

    4. Yeah, I bought it for the switch lite, but it just doesn’t suit that system, had to stop playing halfway through

      1. The kind of person who uses the words “you Greek freak” would likely be somebody with reading comprehension issues!

  1. Nice to see this emulator progressing well. I just tried Super Mario Odyssey but it still runs better on Yuzu for me. On the plus side it seems to cope better with installing game updates than Yuzu does.

  2. Astral Chain looks cool, I see it does local co-op, just not sure if that means split screen or not. Always on the look out for split screen games I can play with my gf.

Daemon X Machina (never heard of it before, hat tip Durka Durka) would be a nice game, but wow the screen is too busy, it’s packed with stats, blinking target icons, all kids of crap. Guessing that’s a game for people that can focus and 20 things at once. Im too old school for that lol.

    1. No you dont need to focus on all numbers in DxM, it just hp and ammo that you should care, rest is just speed etc and its unimportant and if i remember correctly it can be customised. The game is very 100% like good old armored core games (no wonder its made by same ppl).
