A few hours ago, we informed you about a rumour regarding Resident Evil 4 Remake. And apparently, this remake is actually real. Capcom insider, Dusk Golem, has confirmed these rumours, suggesting that Resident Evil 4 Remake is indeed happening.
However, it’s really important to note that Resident Evil 4 Remake will not come out anytime soon. As Dusk Golem claimed, this game is at least a couple of years away, and it won’t be the next RE game. The next RE game will be, obviously, Resident Evil 8.
So here comes me talking about RE4 REmake, it was kinda' inevitable it was going to leak sooner than later even though I do still feel now isn't the best time for it to leak. The game is still at least a couple years away and isn't even the next RE game releasing. But a number of

Furthermore, everything that VGC revealed is actually true. The game has Mikami’s blessing and the development team working on it is M-Two.
There's a bit more I can add though. M-Two was developed with this project in mind, it was always their plan to remake RE4. RE4 Remake's development began in 2018, and by the time it releases (aiming for 2022, but it may slip back further, who knows) it'll have been in dev for 4+

and something to be mentioned is M-Two were helping with RE3 for some practice rather than being as they also were working on RE4. You can bet your ass they were also following reception of RE3 REmake closely to see what worked, didn't work, etc.

think this is the time to talk about it. The game is 2+ years away, much can change, RE8 is the next RE game and I fully believe deserves the attention right now and may turn out to be excellent. I understand the interest/concerns, but whether it helps or not be aware RE4 does

It’s also worth noting that the Resident Evil 4 Remake team will be larger than the ones for Resident Evil 2 Remake or Resident Evil 3 Remake.
have a larger overall team than RE2 or RE3 Remake had and a lot of time conceptualizing it, development started in 2018 but there were talks before that. Parts of Div 1's RE2 Remake team and DMC5 teams are helping with this project.

The “remake train” continues to roll on full speed ahead. I haven’t played the original RE4 so I am interested in this game. It’s supposed to be one of the best RE games.
It’s a great game in it’s own right, but go into it expecting an action game. If you want survival horror, this isn’t it.

I have many issues with that version, thats why i never played more than the first 10 m of that game lol. I’m sure it will be perfect if they fully remastered that game however.

I’ve personally never liked the “stand still to shoot” mechanic so I stopped playing after about 30 mins.
I tried this game after playing Dead Space 1 so trying to adjust was awful. I’ll be waiting for the remake mainly for improved gameplay mechanics.
Dead Space 1 was one of the best games ever made but it was somewhat ganky.
dead space games are absolutely superior to these games and specially re4 and i’m saying that as someone who grew up with resident evil games.

you’re not missing anything, 5 and 6 are better.
1) It isn’t. It’s one of the worst.
2) It’s on literally every system that exists. A calculator could run RE4.

The NTSC Game Cube version is still the only one worth playing to this day. Before everyone starts crying about their super modded PC versions go and actually play the GC version before commenting.

I know visually the PC version can be made to look the best. I’m referring to the controls, the GC version controls so well the dead zone is set perfectly and the controls are so smooth and tight. I have played every version released extensively and the GC version is still easily the best.
You won’t really understand until you try it for yourself it really is a massive difference and makes the game far more enjoyable.
