Red Dead Redemption 2 feature 4

Take-Two Interactive is requesting a takedown of the controversial Hot Coffee mod in Red Dead Redemption 2

Last week we informed you about the controversial Hot Coffee from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, being available for the Red Dead Redemption 2. Hot Coffee is the inaccessible mini-game that portrayed animated sexual intercourse.

Now a week later and Take-Two is already on the prowl looking for modders to punish. Which is very typical of Take-Two, as per usual. According to YouTuber Swegta, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar’s legal respresentative reached out to one of the creators of the Hot Coffee mod. They requested for the mod to be taken down, because the mod breaks the game’s End User Licence Agreement and Code of Conduct.

According to the modder, the mod does not contain any nudity or nude models. It only uses assets that are currently in the game. The animations are from the bar mission with Lenny and the moaning sounds are from character injuries.

This is a single-player mod that affects only your own personal game. So I see no reason for all this trouble. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rockstar was planning a Hot Coffee paid DLC.

You can read the whole story here.

Thanks PCGamesN.

  1. OKAY CHRIS KUNTOURAS, LIKE YOU’RE NOT THE ONE THAT REPORTED IT TO ROCKSTAR. TRYING TO TAKE AWAY EVERYONE ELSE’S FUN, YOU BULLY.

  2. They’re going after modders now, too hilarious, I guess car companies can go after
private mechanics for fixing their vehicles.

  3. How this mod can be controversial? For fak sake this game is rated PEGI18! (M21) Made For MATURE people.
Again T2 strikes back with BAD PR, bunch of clowns.

  4. These AAA game developers truly think they’re above the law. No country cares about your user agreement, its about as legally valid as a get out of jail free card. No company can tell you what to do with what is in your own property I.E game failes on YOUR computer!!!

  5. Really? This crap is still “controversial” ? It’s pretty tame compared to s**t that’s far more easily accessible. “Oh noes, our precious PR and public image.”

You are the morons who designed the thing in the first place. Just because you didn’t intend to release it, doesn’t give you a by in having created this fiasco to begin with.

Rockstar and T2 can go f**k themselves. Getting really tired of these garbage companies, and their one-trick-pony game design anyways.

  6. Another day, another instance of c*ntish behaviour from Take-Two.

This, on the back of them having also filed a lawsuit in a New York court against another mod author, has guaranteed I’ll be pirating anything they publish rather than continuing to buy their wares.

    FU Take-Two.

  7. I was thinking about buying this game on the future, when i get a new PC, but nope, i refuse to give money to taketwo.

Maybe i will ”try it” if the YArR!! version comes up some day

  8. seems like it, there are sjws in rockstar that much is confirmed. Its funny because Dan SPECIFICALLY SAID that, he cant make a new gta due to the political climate being too pc.

  9. “because the mod breaks the game’s End User Licence Agreement and Code of Conduct.”

    Which says? No sex mods?
