New in-game trailers released for Pearl Abyss’ PLAN 8 and Crimson Desert

Alongside the cinematic trailer for DoveK, Pearl Abyss released new trailers for PLAN 8 and Crimson Desert. Contrary to the trailer for DoveK, however, these two trailers feature in-game gameplay from these two upcoming titles.

PLAN 8 is an exosuit massively multiplayer online shooter that will remind you Ubisoft’s The Division 2. Minh Le, also known as the co-creator of the Counter-Strike franchise, is the game’s technical adviser. The game’s production is also led by Seung-ki Lee, former environment art director of Black Desert Online and Black Desert Mobile.

On the other hand, Crimson Desert is an open-world MMORPG, featuring an epic-fantasy world. In a war for survival, three tribes will fight for control of the Pywell continent. Crimson Desert has been produced since 2018 by Jason Jung, former game design director of RYL Online. Working alongside Jason Jung on RYL Online was Dae-il Kim, the founder of Pearl Abyss. Moreover, Eter Lee, former Lead Combat Designer of RYL Online and C9, is in charge of the action combat system for the title.

There isn’t currently any ETA on when these two games will come out, however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy!

  1. Uhmmmm. This would be greatly welcomed if they were single player/co-op games but these so called “MMO’s” these days are aren’t MMO’s. They are basically single player games that are always online. I couldn’t tell the last time we got an actual MMO. I just wish they’d stop with all this garbage and get back to making single player games or drop in drop out co-op. Look at the division and anthem, they are basically single player games they are pretending to be mmo’s. It’s pathetic and what’s more pathetic is that people are buying into the rubbish. Both the division & anthem would’ve been great games if they were drop in/drop out co-op. Instead of this mmo-lite B.S. Ughhhh…

    1. Exactly. I was like “hey, these look good”, but then I discovered they are nothing more than MMO’s, which auto entail tedious grinds, micro transactions and the usual bs that currently plague MMO’s.

Completely lost interest in both of these now.

  2. That second game looks like a mixture of gothic 3 and the witcher….WITH GUNS….OH LOOK AN ATTRACTIVE WOMAN IN 2:49…WOW….let me guess, this made isnt made in the west is it?

  3. DOWNGRADE incoming ! Reveal Trailers Vs final game release absolutely not the same games … animations and graphics are very complexes, not possible actually…

  4. Jesus, another 2 MMO’s. Would it kill them to just for once make a good looking SP game for once?.

The MMO genre as it stands, is horribly saturated, horribly stuffed with tedious grinds and MT’s up the a**e.

I just want a good fleshed out, interesting SP game, with a one time purchase, and no sub fees or F2P grinding bs.
