Bioware, DICE, Maxis, Criterion and EA Sports are working on new games for EA

On its preliminary financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2019, EA revealed that some of its studios or working on brand new games. As such, gamers can expect new titles from Bioware, DICE, Maxis and Criterion.

Going into more details, EA stated that Motive is working on a brand new IP. Furthermore, Bioware, DICE, Maxis and Criterion are working on new projects. EA Sports is also working on new titles (these are most likely its annual sport games). EA also has some new indie and third-party developer games that it will reveal at a later date.

The publisher has also confirmed that the next-gen Battlefield game will launch after April 2021. This means that there won’t be a next-gen BF game during the launch of the next-gen consoles. Moreover, Dragon Age 4 may probably come out after March 2022.

Electronic Arts also stated that it will deliver some exciting remasters of fan favourites. Although the publisher did not reveal any additional details, it did state that one of them is Command & Conquer.

  1. “criterion”

Oh great cars unable to turn again. Just when i thought criterion will never touch need for speed ever again, sigh seems the will. If i am not mistaken somehow they messed it up based on framerate or something and you had to edit inis to make them turn more.

        1. WAT? Undercover must be the worse, not only visually but gameplay wise. The Run at least tried to be something different (crap, but different) and Pro Street…well, at least it doesnt look as bad as Undercover.

          1. undercover did not have open world, the run did not have open world or customization. Yes undercover visuals look like a ps2 game, which is weird because the ps2 version is different it uses the most wanted map just reskined, but there are mods for that. Still undercover has a ton of cars, by far the most races in a nfs game tons of customization and lots mission types and race types and events.

You could say undercover is unfinished, because it is, blame ea for that one, most wanted 2012 was unfinished too due to ea wanting it to release it earlier, it was more polished by cars were undrivable and the game was short, at least undercover doesnt have those problems and it has some pretty high end cars like bugati, koningseg, pagani, mclaren. Pro street to me is a borring repettive pain in the neck, if you want to play legal track racing games, there are better games out there including shift. Id argue undercover is most wanted 2 not as good but atleast less rubber banding and easier since it has difficulty settings, id rather play that than most wanted 2012.

Anyway ghost games is weird, 2015 had graphics but it was trash with tons of problems and always online, payback had tight dirtroads and it was very short with a AWFUL microtransaction style upgrade system, they made you grind by replaying races to upgrade your new car and you needed to buy a new car because the old ones couldnt be upgraded fully to the highest levels. Also the best cars? You would finish the game without them, too expensive and if you can buy them, they need upgrading which means more grinding in races you played multiple times already. So far people say heat plays better than all previous ghost games. I still miss the customization that you had in undergound 2, carbon and undercover, it was ridiculous. Now i see that heat will have a countanch but it has like 2 bumpers, a widebody of the anniversary edition, not a new widebody and 4 spoilers, pffft, also f40 only has a hood and a extra spoiler..PFFFFT. I miss the blackbox games customization especially with autosculpt. Also SO MANY VYNYLS.

      1. very short, no story, no customization, awful driving mechanics awful wanted system, no difficulty settings. Each car has specific races that you need to redo each time you get a new car in order to unlock upgrades. Half the content is either dlc or removed due to lack of time. SOOOOO yeah its horrible. Good graphics though.

        1. no my opinion is 100% based on MP portion that’s where i spent all of my time and i didnt say it was great passable at best

  2. There has been rumors that EA’s been working on remastering Battlefield 3…if that happens…i ll be happy till April 2021. If not, i will end up buying the new COD when the price drops sometime next year.

    1. “Great as mass effect Andromeda”…I’ll report you to Pakistani authorities for spreading lies…

  3. Wow. What a revelation. Developers are working on new games. What other crazy news could possibly come next!?!?

As a follow-up. Ever single one of those names, are just that anymore. Names, and nothing more. Anyone who helped forge their reputation, is LONG since gone. See EA’s catalog for the past decade, for proof.

  4. here’s how to save what is left of EA & those studios!
    1. Stop being a lootbox/DLC charging wh*re
    2. listen to fans ( single player games are not dead )
    3. Remaster some good titles & don’t charge a bomb
    4. stop meddling with the Studios ( give them the creative freedom they crave for )
    5. bring back Burnout
    6. BFBC3 & enough with the cringey sjws history quest.
    7. Market games like the way it’s meant to be, stop bringing retards to host the show.
    8. STOP BEING A CUCK!

    1. Sadly it’s not always CEOs that want SJW s**t, it’s studios themselves “crave creative freedom” this way.
