The Sinking City performance patch coming soon to the PC, promises to fix stuttering issues

Frogwares has announced that a performance patch for The Sinking City will be coming out soon on the PC. This patch will feature all the enhancements that were added to the game’s console patch, as well as some PC-specific improvements.

Going into more details, this patch will improve overall performance. Therefore, players should see a more stable FPS rate when playing the game. Frogwares has also implemented additional improvements and optimizations based on post-launch feedback.

Not only that, but the team has also addressed previously reported frequent FPS drops and stuttering. We were among the first to report the game’s awful stuttering issues, so it’s at least good knowing that the developers have tried to fix them.

Moreover, this patch will bring various crowd-related fixes, improvements, and optimizations. As such, players should see a decrease in bugs and glitches linked to pedestrian behavior. In addition, passersby should no longer have spawn zones that are directly visible to the player.

  1. Epic paid these guys millions to make the game better but in the end it was as shallow and performance heavy like any ubisoft title.

    1. Yeah i noticed the gameplay from streams and video. It looks like absolute SCHITT. As for UbiSoft, they make some of the most hideous game sin the industry and yet they make so much money. I don’t get it.

    1. some of the most hideous gameplay I’ve ever seen. I now know that when a developer(s) spend most of their time talking about the way they build their game and awesome graphics, means it’s gonna be utter crap.

      1. Visuals has now become the low end in the developing community, since every kid with some free time can download and learn pretty much any game engine they want for free.

That’s why we get news on almost a weekly basis about this or that “one man project” that look so cool graphically speaking but are more shallow than a milk spill.

Writers, art directors and gameplay designers are now the main pillars in the gaming industry and most of those at the moment are either blue dyed raving SJW (which means they s*ck at their job) or work exclusively for consoles.

        1. Very intuitive and I agree 100% it would always pisses me off when I see consume exclusives that look and feel so mint. And we all know PC has quite the infinite power, but we get stuck with multiplatform garbage. These games are pew pew pew fest all damn day long. ??

  2. This is why no consumer feedback is allowed within the Epic store, bad game, borderline scam.

    Epic, make piracy great again.
