Borderlands 3 vs Borderlands 2 video graphics comparison

Borderlands 3 releases in a few days and Candyland has shared a comparison video between the second and the third part of the series. This video compares the PC versions of these two games on Max/Ultra settings.

Borderlands 2 used Unreal Engine 3, whereas Borderlands 3 uses Unreal Engine 4. As such, this video will give you an idea of the visual improvements that Epic’s new engine brings to the table. The video will also give you an idea of Borderlands 3’s new textures and some of its artistic changes.

Borderlands 3 will support DirectX 12 so it will be interesting to see how it performs on the PC platform. Initial PC performance reactions from a couple of publications are not that great, however, we’ll reserve judgement until the final version releases. In case you’re wondering, 2K Games has not provided us yet with a review code.

In Borderlands 3, players will blast their way through new worlds and enemies as one of four brand new Vault Hunters, each with skill trees, abilities, and customization. The game will feature solo and co-op modes so that players can take on insane enemies, collect loads of loot and save their home from the most ruthless cult leaders in the galaxy.

Borderlands 3 releases on September 13th. It will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech and will be exclusive for six months on the Epic Games Store.

Enjoy!

    1. Both of them are running on the PC.

“Both are played on PC with 2160p resolution and max graphics. As you can see PhysX is activeated in BL2, the feature is missing in BL3.”

      1. My bad i mistook the X button for the PS controller one, i didn’t bother reading what they wrote in the description either, so yeah, my bad totally.

  1. Looks good enough for me. The problem here is the EGS exclusivity. I don’t mind taking their free games but paying stuff on their store is another.

  2. “will be exclusive for six months on the Epic Games Store”

It’ll be so for a day or so courtesy of CODEX, CPY or whoever else.

P.S. The updated compilation release of Telltale’s The Walking Dead series exclusively on EGS has already been cracked.

          1. The six month official exclusivity will allow for the game’s myriad problems to be patched out in time for the real deal release on Steam.

Thank you in advance for paying to beta test it for me, Timmy.

          2. Actually, once a game goes Epic exclusive I refuse to pay a penny for it. It is Codex or nothing after that.

          3. Good point. Waiting around dutifully for 6-12 months to buy a game on another store when Timmy and Randy allows it is to be cucked.

No Steam day one, no buy.
