CONTROL-8

Here are 18 minutes of gameplay footage from the E3 2019 demo of CONTROL

Gamespot has shared a video, showing 18 minutes of gameplay footage from the E3 2019 demo of Control. Control is Remedy’s new sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience that I’m personally really looking forward to (I also liked Quantum Break with its time travel concept).

The game promises to challenge players to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through the deep and mysterious worlds Remedy is known and loved for.

Control is powered by the Northlight Engine and Remedy will be using real-time ray tracing for reflections, contact shadows, diffuse global illumination and transparent reflections.

Control is currently scheduled for an August 27th release on the Epic Games Store.

Enjoy!

  1. Looks good… but facial animations are just “meh”! So sad to see that almost every game fail in this aspect.

  2. OMG she has such a whinny girly voice and she needs to comment on everything, why are the dialogues so cringe and nonsensical? Who wrote this trash?

Finally its clear that the monolith empty room sections are cheap trash they were put together in a rush to extend the gameplay length.

    Gameplay seems decent.

    1. Agreed!
The dialogues a full of cringe, and the environments look like they are placeholders used by devs during character movement/mechanics testing!

  3. Quantum Break really does look better than this in many aspects. it’s also pretty clear that Microsoft had little to do will the narrative in remedy’s projects as you see present. It doesn’t look that bad it’s just not what gamers were claiming about. this is all Remedy’s choices and narrative. no one is pressuring them. the only thing MS provided was a higher budget and a list of higher budget actor choices.

  4. The voice actor for janitor is Finnish and his dialogue is spot on for an older Finnish person with all the expressions

  5. Combat looks awesome honestly. Don’t like the way some of the dialogue was handled, esp with the protagonist, but eh.
