Avalanche Studios has released a new, and highly anticipated, PC patch for Just Cause 4. According to the team, this patch brings performance improvements, as well as visual improvements to the water, vegetation and the game’s anti-aliasing system.
Do note that this patch does not add the promised Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) support that Avalanche promised to implement in Just Cause 4 via a post-launch update.
Furthermore, this update adds support for Razer Chroma, updates the Customization menu and features various bug fixes.
As always, Steam will auto-download this patch the next time you launch its client, and you can find its complete changelog below.

The water is still not just cause 3 level yet
Just cause 2 even, that had CUDA water.
John, can you post before/after comparison screenshots for the water and vegetation?
The game does not come with manual saves (so we can’t save in different places and use the saves for comparison purposes). We’ve also updated the game prior to capturing any “before” screenshots.
Gotcha. I remembered you had screenshots from the PC Performance Analysis, but it looks like you didn’t get any of the water. I can imagine no manual saves are a huge pain in the a*s, too.
It’s should be done on day-0 😉
All those fixes, better visuals will not change the fact that game is boring tash.
Too late. Game is a flop.
The game would have done 5x better if it was Epic Store exclusive for sure, Epic store would have made the water look better because of moah moneyz.
Those 400 people playing this t*rd are happy now. compare that to JC3 another failure which have near 2k players online.
Off-topic:
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, which isn’t set to be released/unlocked on Steam for another 23 hours (here at least), has already been cracked by CODEX!
A NEW update is coming for this game.
Back in March, Avalanche updated the game to increase its performance and offer a better anti-aliasing solution on both consoles and PC, with today marking the release of the game’s Spring update, which brings with it improved global illumination, increased visibility during nighttime scenes and new content in the form of destructible black hand statues, improved vehicle AI, mobile “chaos objects” and destructible train bridges.

It still looks like absolute rubbish on Xbox One X. Horrible aliasing with jaggies, oversharp shadow definition, rubbish pop in and the worst looking water of just about any game on even the original Xbox in early 2000’s . They are obviously as blind as bats as they keep promoting the game with all these improvements yet the game still looks like complete balls. Worse purchasing decision ever to buy this piece of crap and then they put it on Gamepass a couple of months later anyway.
So where can I find that sh**ty patch ?
