Square Enix today announced that the NieR:Automata Game of the YoHRa Edition of the award winning and post-apocalyptic action-RPG will arrive to the PC via Steam on February 26th, 2019. Moreover, Square Enix revealed the contents of this GotY Edition.
The NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition features the base game alongside exciting digital content, including: the 3C3C1D119440927 Expansion DLC, 6 pod designs (Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin and Cardboard Pod Skin) and Machine Mask Accessory. Additionally, those who purchase on STEAM will receive 2 wallpapers.
Square Enix did not reveal any plans to patch any of the game’s PC issues in this GOTY Edition.
As you may have guessed, Square Enix has not released a single patch for the PC version of NieR Automata, meaning that PC gamers will have to use the FAR mod in order to properly enjoy it.
Unfortunately, though, we don’t know whether the aforementioned mod will be compatible with the game’s GotY Edition. If it isn’t compatible, this particular – and newer – version will be inferior to what PC gamers are enjoying today.

Gaming community is so naive, just look at Steam discussions about people who don’t know if they buy the game now or wait for the new version that surely ” will fix a ton of the PC port issues”, yeah right with SE recent track record i doubt it.

Nah. Review bombing is stupid. I’m not gonna hammer one of the best games of all time with a low score. Instead I’ll factor the technical issues into my score and review.
Review bombing is one of the very few protest tools consumers have that can actually get a rich publisher’s attention. Squeenix are big boys, they don’t need Internet commenters defending them.
It beats the purpose of reviews. It’s the same as a PC or xbox fanboy giving a 0 out of 10 to a game on metacritic just because it’s a PS4 exclusive and he’s salty about it. It diminishes the value of review scores. It’s because of this that user reviews are meaningless to me and I stopped even looking at them. I would rather trust an SJW “journalist” review more these days than a worthless steam user review.

cant even get to the first save point without crashing on pc. they make me sick they would re-release without even patching the base game.
