Wildcard Studio has released its new open-world online sandbox game, ATLAS. In ATLAS, players will stake their claim in the endless open world as they conquer territory, construct ships, assemble forts, plunder settlements and hire crew to join their powerful armada.
Players will campaign with over 40,000 simultaneous online players, as their influence expands from a small island, to a pirate empire that spans the Globe. Players will wage battle against enemy ships, dive deep into the briny water to explore sunken wrecks and claim your treasure.
Last but not least, players will discover new lands rich with elements, tame natural and mythical creatures, raid forgotten tombs, confront powerful ancient gods and even build their own colonies, cities, and civilizations.
Here is hoping that the game will run better than ARK: Survival Evolved!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

If nothing else it looks to be more promising that Sea of Thieves which, in common with John’s remark about optimisation, isn’t saying much!
The framerate looks terrible already
So…. see you in 5 years once it’s properly finished?
oh boy more unoptimized trash
ARK huh? So that means EVERYTHING in that trailer isnt actually what will happen in the game and you will instead be spawn camped and put in a makeshift jail while the biggest clans get to actually have all the fun. So basically more pointless survival garbage. NEXT!
something tells that this was going to be an ark dlc but they decided to make it a standalone game to charge more.
Sea of Black Flag OL
ho supp this studio
open world online = MT’s up the a**e.
Also it’s from the same devs that had the balls to charge for DLC, before their game was even completed.
Hell naw.
