Guillaume Brunier also confirmed that BGEFest has been postponed to 2019. As Guillaume said, this will give the team enough time to prefer for this big event.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the spiritual successor to the cult classic, and a prequel that will transport players into a profoundly multicultural world. The game aims to capture the spirit of the original with “grandiose decors and intense dramas that play out across a vast universe.“
In Beyond Good and Evil 2, players will fight alongside other characters in a new solar system, as they struggle for freedom and the right to determine their own fate among the stars. Players will be able to game either by themselves or with friends in a vast and seamless online playground.
Ubisoft also plans to release a playable beta version of Beyond Good and Evil 2 at the end of 2019.

I dont get why they picked a black man as the voice actor of origins yet in Odyssey they made sure that most characters are played by Greeks, even the voice actor of Alexios is a Maniot which makes him related to the ancient spartans. In a interview he accideantly let everyone know that he was the original cannon as he worked in the game longer than the female voice actress. But then canadian ubisoft being canadian decided that the female characer is canon, despite that it made no sense story wise. Its sad to me how much they alter history for PC, including the exploration tool that removes all nudity and makes sure half the characters are women for “inclusivity” There was this dude in youtube called loomer i think that made a video saying that the game should only have the female character….spartans…..random woman…sure, sure that will go well. Everyone downvoted him. But to his credit he made another video saying he didnt like how ubisoft made the female character basically a copy paste of the male version, a reskin and everyone treated Kassandra as if sexism didnt exist back then and thats bad because thats like erasing the struggles of women and minorities from history.
That was really annoying and immersion-breaking, Kassandra moved and acted like a man and no character seemed to notice that she’s a woman, it didn’t feel natural at all, like you say, it’s like you were playing the game using a model swap that replaces Alexios with Kassandra.
