Ubisoft has revealed the free content that will be coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in November. According to the team, the November update will raise the game’s cap level from 50 to 70; a tweak that will definitely please a lot of players as they could easily hit the maximum cap level when doing lots of side missions.
Moreover, Ubisoft will add Stéropès the cyclops as a new Legendary boss, a new storyline quest (Divine Intervention), a new boat to fight every two weeks to win boat and orichalcum, as well as an option at the forge to buy an armor item and choose the design.
Furthermore, players will be able to custom their controller way of play, an option to auto-craft arrows will be added and the controversial Boost XP can be paused at any time during its time limit.
Last but not least, Ubisoft stated that it aims to deliver new content each month until June or July 2019!

Now see this right here is why you don’t buy games day 1. Always wait a few months. Saves on costs too.
Normally, I would agree. However, this is only new content that you can still play if you bought it day one. I don’t see the issue.
The game is only getting bigger in this situation, which is good no matter when you bought it.
Levels in this game are boarderline meaningless anyway.
Well unless you were taking your sweet time with it you’d be done by now. This games been out for a month already so to see it you gotta reinstall it and maybe replay all or some of it. With the new AC games being this weird open world grind fests i don’t see the fun in that. Best to just wait a few months til its nice and ready or better yet wait for all the dlc to be out.
Well, I have a full time job and a home to maintain, so that alone has been enough to make it impossible for me to finish by now. Plus, there isn’t much else coming out I’m interested in so I’m in no hurry.
With the history of AC, the games usually get solid patches for a couple weeks to a month. After that, whatever issues they have are usually forever.
I’ve enjoyed the last 3 AC games because I did just that. Waited a few months before even getting them, and taking my time exploring and doing side missions. Holding off on the main quest line until I’ve finished stuff.
I remember doing this in Syndicate for weeks. Just loved exploring the city.
Plan to do the same here.
If you enjoyed that, you’ll love it here. Exploration is far more interesting as you will stumble across some…unusual locations.
Neeeeaaaa-ice.
They added the ability to auto-craft arrows in the last update. Not sure where this information came from.
is the game worth buying for 30 euros?
Marketing tactics to stay relevant using cut out content. They want return marketplace visits. Bug fixes alone take forever, and real content especially takes way longer than a few weeks to create. CDPR, with all their faults, is the only company this gen I can remember that provided real free content updates and top tier expansions (DLC is marketing vomit and be applied to a $9.99 Horse Armor download). Tells me Ubi cut this out as a planned marketing move after RDR2’s release to pull people back in for buying microtransactions – their real money maker.
And the “levels” in this game mean jack sh*t when chickens scale with you. Just a gate for everything.
This game is just a mindless grind with zero RPGing in it and pay-to-skip MTXs to cheat beyond what it is.
Actually CDPR was the first to come with this “free DLC” tactic
the NG+ and other super basic features was available on the f**king disk but instead CDPR decided to “give it away for free”
and what did they give? some extra outfits that were completely useless after early mid-game
the ability to store $hit in “safe places”?
and they literally CUT OUT the wolf school gear only to give it out in a DLC
how is that not scummy? that’s f**king cut-content!
of course they also gave some Cosmetic stuff, and extra shaving styles
but all of that is meaningless
as for quests, Fool’s gold, missing miners and skellige’s most wanted actually feel like they were part of the game
the only “decent” actual new content DLC was “where the cat and wolf play” because it’s purely a fan-service DLC
everything else is just cut-content re-added for nothing more than cheap, easy PR
CDPR essentially paved the way for scummy (((AAA))) companies use the same tactic of “free c?u?t? ?c?o?n?t?e?n?t? DLC”
