Assassin’s Creed Odyssey trainer offers for free the game-changing XP booster

Back in the golden days, instead of using microtransactions, developers were implementing cheat codes to their games in order to make them a bit easier for gamers. And while these days are long gone, on the PC we can use trainers that can bring back that magic. Truth be told, trainers can also ruin a difficult game – like Dark Souls – but in Odyssey’s case, they can address one specific feature that Ubisoft has added via microtransactions.

In case you weren’t aware of, Odyssey features level-gating missions, meaning that you need to reach a certain level in order to complete both main and side quests. This feature was also present in Origins, however in Odyssey Ubisoft is offering an EXP booster that bypasses this “feature.” Naturally this XP booster is behind a pay-wall and thankfully a trainer can offer the same thing but for free to everyone.

The trainer also comes with Infinite Health, Infinite Money, Infinite XP and more cheats, however – and in order to stay as close to the vanilla game as possible – we strongly suggest using the Alt+1/2/3/4 options that give an EXP booster. By using this, PC gamers can enjoy the main story without having to grind or do any side quests at all.

Basically, this option in the trainer does exactly what the official XP booster does, only better as it comes with four options (2X, 4X, 8X and 16X). And to be honest, this is something that Ubisoft should be offering for free as it can dramatically affect the way you play the game.

Since trainers fall, traditionally, under the “piracy” category, we won’t be allowing any direct links to it. However, it’s really easy to find it and download it. All you have to do is search in Google for “Assassins.Creed.Odyssey.v1.0.2.Plus.26.Trainer”

Have fun everyone!

    1. It might do according to Companies like EA, Activision, WB Games and Ubisoft. They don’t like that people can’t ignore their lootbox and microtransaction horse crap.

      1. So now all is fine, if others criticize and complain ? When I do the same, you call me TROLL without any shadow of a doubt ??

This is what I’ve been talking about. The “quality” of articles being published. I also put my complain sometimes, but it was under the good intention as well, not to troll john.

But, it looks every other forum member becomes a TROLL to you, if they ever even criticize, or complain here on DSOG.

But not in this case, as evident from your reply. Because, YOU yourself accept the fact that Trainers are NOT pirated stuff, so it’s OKAY if others complain here as well..

        That tells it all.

          1. why not ? You are the one who accused by calling me a troll, under this topic:

“”Editorial – YOU can determine DSOGaming’s Comment Section Policy 2018 [UPDATE: Results]””

my criticism was with a good intention though. To quote your comment from that topic:

“”””I dont get why you are here you constantly whine about everything including what john writes you are clearly a troll.”””

even others have been bringing up issues to john under several other recent topics as well, so the quality of this website has gone down since past many months or so.

      1. Actually it is a pervasive stupidity within the industry. Undoubtedly pushed by publishers like Ubisoft. And John needs to play by their rules unfortunately.

    1. Actually it’s debatable as some do consider it a form of piracy (we don’t and we are in favour of trainers for single-player games, but then again that’s just us)

      1. LOL, you really make us all crack….This is the first time I heard someone made an opinion about trainers coming under the “piracy” category…..

        are u for real ??

        1. John is not stupid, because of that he can tell a difference between some simple and perfectly legal trainer, and basically hacking tool that only mislead people with it’s “trainer” name.

          1. Yes, he is foolish enough to claim any trainer as ‘pirated” stuff.. Read my comment again, before sounding like a complete moron.

It’s not whether a trainer is LEGAL or not, but it’s wrong to put them under “piracy”..

            It’s a HACKING tool…..yes.

            It’s a CHEAT…….Yes..

            It’s a tool to bypass in-game stuff….yes.

            So, It’s a pirated tool/software for that matter ?? Hell NO…..

          2. “It’s a HACKING too…..yes.”

So you can see it for yourself, it’s a hacking tool, that basically bypass paid features, so it’s not legal. Do you even know what EULA is, have you ever read it or bought any legal game? You are not buying rights to do with your game whatever you want, you are just buing your rights to play that game and you have to obey the rules outlined in the EULA, otherwise you will break the EULA and then game rights owner can legally ban your key. Basically steam games, are not your games, you just have a rights to play them and that’s all:P, it’s brutal truth.

Of course I would like to see some “trainers” for other games like forza horizon 4, that would basically unlock for me paid features like DLC cars for free, but let’s be real, it’s a F%$4G hacking tool at this point and not some simple trainer, because it bypass paid features.

Right now Ubisoft have every right to ban people who use that “trainer”, in fact I will be surprised if they dont do that, because game rights owner usually do whatever they can to protect their investment.

          3. I’m not real familiar with trainers but it’s my understanding that every trainer is a hacking tool. They locate and change memory locations used within a game to alter such things as XP, levels, unlimited health, ammo etc.

If the trainer didn’t unlock a specific feature such as the XP boost but allowed you to raise your XP at any time then it’s all really the same thing.

In this case Ubisoft wants you to buy the cheat from them but that may become common in a lot of games in the future to avoid built-in unnecessary grinding.

          4. In old days trainers were just like cheat codes, even game magazines were including them on CD’s because trainers were and still are legal, but this particular trainer bypass legal way of buying paid feature, and that’s why it can be considered illegal.

          5. you talk about 2 different things,
trainers, made by others to change or add code to a program.
Cheats, implemented in the game by the developer
for testing purposes or for actual cheating by the player

      2. stop being a total JERK,,,,,You, your artciles and this website has totally become a joke these days….learn some professionalism

    2. This particular trainer is bypassing otherwise paid feature, so it’s should be obvious why it can be considered illegal. Ubisoft is too greedy lately so it’s a good thing some talented hacker bypassed that paid feature but I fear ubisoft will either patch their game very soon, and who knows maybe even starts banning people who use it.

      1. Do you know what EULA is? If gamers will use that “trainer” (that basically works like hacking tool in this particular game because it baypass otherwise paid feature) ubisoft will have every right to legally ban people. Iike I have said, ubisoft is greedy and it’s a good think hackers try to punish them for that, but the end user still have to play by the ruls, and ubisoft rules are “you have to pay for XP points” :P.

        1. Just type ubisoft EULA and search for 1.2 paragraph, because they even mentioned trainers specifically:

“you shall not use: (the long list and then:) ““trainer”, “script” or “macro” computer programs or other “cheat” or “hack” programs or software applications for this Product”

Most developers and even probably Ubisoft would not care about normal trainers. In fact for many years game magazines were including trainers for various games on CDs :). But this particular “trainer” is bypassing legal way of buying paid feature, and that’s obviously illegal.

          1. Of course I’m right and I think because money is involved (this trainer bypass paid peature unlike typicall trainer) ubisoft will most likely do something about it because it’s greedy company after all.

    3. Since Ubisoft said it’s illegal

      Ubisoft EULA

      1.2

“you shall not use: (the long list and then:) ““trainer”, “script” or
“macro” computer programs or other “cheat” or “hack” programs or
      software applications for this Product”

They have every right to ban people now who will use this XP boost “trainer”, and especially when it does more than just simple trainer, because it bypass legal way of buying paid feature, and that’s obviously illegal.

    4. Don’t you know anything that has the potential of damaging publisher revenue is considered piracy these days: cracking, cheating freemium currency, trading discs, etc.

  1. If a console purist ever ask what PC does better in some cases, then you can tell that on PC you don’t have to pay for disgusting greedy mobile trends in your singleplayer games. You use old fashion cheat codes and you can crack the game to not run always online.

      1. One trainer seems to be available for FH4, it has a “Set Credits” option, nevetheless you have to pay to have access to it. Due to this website, Cheat(ing) Happens sometimes 😉

    1. when we say ubishet people think we’re being edgy and don’t have anything creative to say, this is exactly what ubishet means.

  2. Lol I’m the biggest pirated then. I use trainers for EVERY game i play, and i play ALOT of games. Whats wrong with cheating? Its fun, makes the game different and exciting again, once you finish it and stuff. If trainers are piracy.. then cheats are piracy too. Its literally the same thing, just made easy and convenient.

1 button = no need to write the code or remember it.

P.s. Single player cheating is FINE, people that got problems with that can F off, its my game and i can do whatever i want (talking in general)

    1. As long trainers dont bypass paid features you are not breaking the EULA. This particular XP booster tool should be no longer consodered trainer but hacking tool.

    2. I work a lot i dont have time to finish the game and unlock every move or every ability so i use trainer or cheats but develover and publishers want to steal from us ho dont have a lot of time f.them

      1. What else to do right? Once you finish the game a few times, you gotta start finding ways to have fun. Some games even need trainers to work normally.

Loot boxes with XP in them = trainer with XP = problem solved/ you got a proper game now.

      1. I prefer traditions that are new and known only to a few, unconnected, disparate peoples. Those are the best traditions; the ones that aren’t practiced at all.

  3. In the old days we had cheats and later console commands, but why do that when you can sell microtransactions? So trainers is the only solution. Dead space 3 had the same treatment, microtransactions you say? No thank you ill use trainers.

The sad moment you look forward to Let it die so you can r@pe it with trainers.

    1. Microtransactions in Dead Space 3 was so stupid. The game was stupidly easy especially since every gun used the same ammunition.

      1. guns were too weak though, most of the time that a monster poped out of nowhere, i was not able to kill before taking a hit.

        1. the changed the movement speed of monsters I think. They are no longer balanced for precision shooting, but rather ridiculously powerful guns that have huge area of effect. Or guns you can put stasis effect on it lollol.

  4. I LOL’d pretty hard when I read DSOG claiming Trainers being categorized under “piracy” category….sigh

What a joke this is….It doesn’t matter what UBI thinks, trainers are NOT pirated stuff/software, if used in single player games.

    1. from ubisoft EULA

      1.2
“you shall not use: (the long list and then:) ““trainer”, “script” or
“macro” computer programs or other “cheat” or “hack” programs or
      software applications for this Product”

      1. You gonna sit here and vomit the stupid “EULA” argument all day? EULA’s are not carved in stone law, just because some company writes something in them. So you should really take this argument, and shove it up your wrecked em.

        1. Just because some company writes something in EULA is enough to legally ban your key, no matter if you interpret their rules as something stupid or unimportant. Of course no one know’s if ubisoft will start banning people for it, but there’s a real risk involved.

  5. I’ve never heard of trainers referred to as piracy. Cheating obviously but never piracy. Probably Ubisoft considers it piracy since you will be getting for free the XP boost instead of paying them for it but on the other hand Ubisoft accused 95% of us as being pirates anyway despite the hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue taken in by them in PC games sales each year.

  6. @JohnDio:disqus strongly disagree with the viewpoint that the game needs the XP boost to have fun. I am level 28, almost 30 hours in the game, just after Athens and Pirate islands, doing only main and side quests (the yellow exclamation marks).
The only reason to use the XP boost is if you plan to touch NOTHING else than the Main Quest. But that is not the intended way to play an action RPG. If you consider that “level gating” any RPG without level scaling is “level-gated”.

Please play the game and have an opinion for yourself, the game has drawbacks and I don’t advocate micro-transactions (never have never will) but it’s a lot of fun, without using the XP boost cheat.

    1. I’ve read – from 5 or 6 players – that the vanilla experience requires you to grind out a ton of side missions while blocking access to new areas. Grinding isn’t bad, but If I want to play this game for 35 or 40 hours, will I be able to press forward to the end because I’m tiring from it, like many other open world games? I’ve heard that’s a tough one, because enemies even just one level above you can be a real brutal experience to take on, especially en masse. That you can, like in many other open world games, take on a real healthy amount of repetitive side tasks but still be required to do more just to progress in the game.

I get what you’re saying about it being an RPG, and I guess AC is a hybrid RPG, leaning more and more to RPG status, and.. well, okay. But I guess there is an easy ability to turn up the grind by arbitrarily adjusting XP intake and I’m definitely not just going to give them a pass that this wasn’t their intention because they can sell a booster.

      1. “Grind out side missions.” If doing side content is “grinding” to them then they are obviously not having fun with the game itself.

To me grinding is doing same stuff over and over again. Killing mobs, doing repeatable quests…stuff like that.

Not just doing side quests. That is insane definition of griding dude 😀 .

With that said it’s true that in pretty much every other action-RPG you can just do main story without doing anything else.

I never play them like this thou so I don’t have any issue with Odyssey.

I can totally see people who play RPGs only for main story being salty thou, more so when there is option to just play main story…by using microtransactions, which is rather scammy.

        1. Go to place 1 and kill person a.
Go to place 2 and kill person b.
Go to place 3 and kill person c.
Go to place 4 and kill person d.
Go to place 5 and kill person e.
Go to place 6 and kill person f.

Those are different numbers and letters but very much are the same tasks. Mix in 5 other variations of that, deliveries, stealing, etc and it’s all very repetitive (a word I used that you didn’t quote!) and a grind.

I keep seeing people say, “sure, if you only care about the story”… but I think myself and most others care about doing more than just the story, quests but not feeling like the game is padded to drag on longer than many care to stick around. Ya know?

    2. Hi John.

Have you yourself used this trainer, and if so have you run into any problems with Uplay proper? I’d like to use this trainer but certainly don’t want them deleting my purchase.

      Thanks.

  7. With AC:Odyssey having an online requirement, I’ve read other people state/guess/suggest that whatever you do using a trainer will be wiped once you’ve logged off/exited the game. That’s the real question to be asked about this.. is this verified?

    1. Yeah, play the game properly at least once then use trainers if you like goofing around. That said, a little XP boost can be less of a loserish thing like cheating and more about a personal time management aid.

  8. This is exactly what I did for Originis actually. I got tired of having to do a billion side quest just to be at the minimum required level so I used a trainer. Of course I went overboard and made the game too easy and ruined it. Seriously, fffffffffffffffffffffffuk ubisoft for doing this.
